Hi all & congrats musogirl!
I haven't read back far but hope your all ok.
I just came on to say I'm now 39+5 and really feeling it!! If baby isn't here by Wednesday my mw will give me a sweep - but I'm a bit scared & don't know what to expect !? My ds came at 37 weeks! What are sweeps like & should I have one??

Maybe slightly TMI but have had a brownish mucusy type discharge - is this normal?? I haven't had it before.

They don't really hurt, more sort of uncomfortable...they also don't always work BUT anything is worth a try once you are 40wks and baby hasn't made signs of appearing:)

Yay on the laptop bag....I want one:p

Not sure about the brown discharge! Is there much, and is it thick or watery. With ds1 my waters went and had meconium in but they didn't all gush out, more of a trickle. I can't remember when you are due, sorry. Maybe phone and ask a bit of advice from Labour ward...or if you don't want to do that at least stick a pad in and check it every 30 mins, if you are getting a fair bit then definitely phone:)

I am off for a long hot, well deserved bath but will check back later to see how you are.

I have today done the following....

Mowed front lawn
Washed car (big people carrier)
Filled car with junk for the skip
Tidied and swept the driveway
Full tidy/hoover/polish of our bedroom
Hoovered hall, stairs and landing
Tidied Kitchen
Refitted Kick board in Kitchen
Done 3 washing loads
Changed both beds in the boys room and hoovered

Still want to give the bathroom and toilet a scrub/bleach down yet....but that might be on the list for tomorrow:p

bizziebaby must have been busy today. I got selected to review this breastfeeding support bag thing. Bit odd looking but shall give it a shot! Anyone else get it?

37 weeks on Tuesday and got most of the last bits and pieces I need for my hospital bag today. Baby has turned around thankfully and is head down again so hoping for nice and straight forward and preferably fairly soon! I just finished work on Friday so might be nice to have a week or so to sort out the house, after that, project eviction starts in force!

Delain it could be your mucus plug that has come away apparently though i only found this out myself in the last pregnancy they can come away and renew themselves during the course of your pregnancy :-)
