Sir monster- if it is only the colour putting you off, remember you could always get a buggy liner and they cover most of the seat anyway. You can get so many colours and patterns too, and they really protect the seat so increase the re-sale value should you decide to sell on afterwards. HTH.

Hope you get to hear back off someone Delain, even just to put your mind at rest.

Forgot to say last night, my long relaxing bath turned out to be pretty short and unrelaxing!! The minute I got in the whole house seemed to turn into a flaming madhouse....the kids were yelling, screaming and shouting outside, then decided to throw a golf ball at the side of the house sounded like someone hammering on the wall...at the same time dh was playing a game on the PS3 that was clearly infuriating him as he was shouting at it, but hadn't bothered to close the living room door!! between the lot of them they woke K up twice in the short time I was in the bath.....I got out and did some shouting myself haha, don't think they were expecting that!

Going to nip to b&q for a hacksaw to chop up the old trampoline today and get it to the skip:) We will then have space to move the new one about and get the back lawn mowed:)

    xx

    Morning all ! :)

What a lovely day it looks today.

Its my sons 13th today ...4 of us are born in May so an expensive month , nothing planned as such as OH works nights so he's in bed so its on tiptoes for us all today.

Mel - why is it that everyone waits for us to get in the bath (not me and you:p but women in general )and then they start!! Why cant we have 2 mins peace!

Delain - Like Xmas said. You may just be one of those women that grows a plug constantly. I've only ever lost one just before birth so I don't know but let us know tomorrow.

Sir Monster - You're right it is hard choosing a pram and even then you may hate it the following year when the LO is sat up. We have the M&P Pilko and the harness on it is just so badly designed but you only look it and think of your newborn and don't see the bigger picture at the time. Good luck in your quest ! :)

    Fernliebee - Couldn't you sleep!! :)

    Right off to make brekkie!

  • Men/non pregnant people wonder why we are so grumpy

Well this morning this is how I felt

1 - I had a pain in my left leg that woke me up ( sciatia and sleeping on left side )
2 - My back is killing me
3 - I was so full of wind if you poked me with a pin I would go flying round the room :rotfl:
4 - My hair looks like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards due to all the tossing and turning
5 - I am hungry but feel sick so I'm scared to eat _pale_
6 - Baby was kicking the life out of my bladder so even if I wanted a lie in he/she was determined I would be up
7 - I haven't had a proper pooh in weeks  despite laxatives, fibre suppliments, high fibre diet etc etc and the piles
8 - Cramp on and off all night
9- I could go on and on and on but I won't

All that's left to say is
IS IT ANY WONDER WE GET MOODY !!!!

Despite all the above I am not feeling too bad
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

    morning all

delain hope you're ok this morning.

The bl**dy neighbours decided to have a row at 4.30am this morning. Our room is on the opposite side of the flat but I was in the spare which is onto their bedroom. I wonder how often this actually happens. I think some loud opera music with the stereo turned against the wall may be in order once dh is up. Thankfully I did get back to sleep about 5 but i still feel tired. We are out tonight, i am tempted to stay in as not sure I have the energy for a 3 hour opera and meal first.

sir monster - you've just made me wonder about that pushchair. I've never heard of it before I must have a look for it...do you know if anywhere around here sells it? We didn't get to see the xt the other day and so we could go and look at both at once! According to the stats it doesn't look any bigger than the xt.

Happy birthday to your son Suzy:) It is my little brother's birthday today too, he is 24!!! I remember him as a little tot running around the garden in the nudey:rotfl:

MLSL - ((hugs)) At least all that isn't getting you down too much:p

I have one silly boy having a nap, he is shattered because he decided to get up before even 6am! And one silly boy sulking as I have just told him off for acting spoilt and causing an argument with ds1.......

Thanks for the advice re pushchairs, never even thought about a buggy liner but is a good idea. I'm not bothered about the colour but for some reason DH is!! I do like this one as it can face both mummy/daddy and away from us, is really lightweight and folds down small so I think I have convinced DH to get it!! Also includes a car seat which you can attach to the chassis, but is not bulky like other travel systems.

Rach is really difficult to find somewhere in real life that actually has it to look at!! The only toysrus store that has it is in Southampton as has a seperate babysrus bit (asked re Croydon but was a no). They sell it at John Lewis on the internet but we went to one at Southampton yesterday and lady said only have it physically at a few stores, from my memory the nearest ones to me were: Peter Jones in Sloane Square and John Lewis in Kingston, not even Bluewater. May be worth giving John Lewis a ring as is important to physically look at it. Also I think John Lewis do have the best price for this model (in black!!)
