bump hath emerged! Jacob was born 19th May at 2045. He weighed an almighty 9.6lbs and was finally aided by forceps, as after hours of pushing (and begging for assistance) he really did not want to leave!

We had to stay in hospital for a week, as I'd lost a litre (!) of blood and baby had low blood sugar, high white blood cells, & was a bit jaundiced. Poor baby. :(

Needless to say I have stitches, which are still killing me, but I'll live! My post-pregnancy waddle is worse than my pregnant waddle :o

Baby is ok, bit grizzly with mucus - any tips? His other bad habit is hiccups, which he'll get for 10 minutes at a time..

Congratulations! Sorry about the birth but at least hes out now safe and sound!

Cant really remember whats going on with everyone, been hormonal tonight! DS has been in bed for nearly 2 hours refusing to go sleep and just talking and shouting at us down the monitor! its cos he had a nap today bed time is always a nightmare when he has a daytime nap!

Delain I would love to have twins, bet having two girls is lovely as well although im guessing there will be a lot of hormones flying around in a few years!

Just sent OH to tesco for cake. I have been whinging on about wnating it for hours, really didnt want to spend any money today but i have cracked, I am pregnant and i NEED cake, i NEED it now, its slightly worrying that i know all my troubles will fade away and ill be happy as larry from that first mouthfull!

Yeah it's a bit mental in our house already :rotfl:

And this new bubs is a girl too. OH says we're going to have to find a house with a big garden so he can build a shed at the bottom with his own loo :rotfl:

Redmel you could have a calcium defficiancy as chalk is mainly calcium carbonate i would go and see your doctor and try not to eat it if you can help it :-)

Congrats Lauzjp on the arrival of baby Jacob!

Smartie: loving your cot and bedding! looks really nice! I've got a cot bed but it does look huge, in a way wish we could have gone for something smaller as now I haven't got space for anything else in the room!

Having the same problem as you Pigpen, the cot is becomming bit of a dumping ground, it's got the packs of bedding, canopy, mattrss in bag, my gym ball, monitor and 3 bags of clothes in it! Got some storage baskets yesterday so hopefully can sort some bits into those, also need to start collecting stuff from my parents house otherwise it'll all never fit in the room!

Have you seen the list of stuff I have in the cot?

Huge box containing nappy buckets and apnoea alarm,
    Baby chair,
    Pile of baby bedding
    Speakers for my lappy
Box for said speakers.. no of course they aren't in it!!
3 carriers of wool.. unknitted as yet.. must get my finger out!
a pile of my clothes.. it is my only pile and I have nowhere else to put it!
    camera charger
2 empty oasis bottles.. big 2L ones of course!
A box containing a pair of boots.
    an empty jiffy bag
and a pair of velvet curtains..

Needless to say.. we need another cot for the baby!!!

Bloody cat just pee'd on the pushchair.. so has been banished!

My right foot is REALLY swollen.. just the baby laid on the blood vessel causing water retention, and it is only one foot as usual but it looks silly.. My left leg has sciatica and my arthritis is being a pain. I am getting REALLY painful BH's every time I try to do anything.. I just had about 10 in an hour walking round tesco!!

I am now slobbed in bed with my fat foot on a pillow... with a cuppa and crisps!

And baby that was breech this morning... is now not.. I think the tesco trawl kind of did it but it is so much more comfortable when head down!

Just lost a post again..whats wrong with me!

Mel- You got a bargain there with the pram! and THATS what you meant by Getting distracted on your earlier post you naughty girl! :D..and step away from the chalk!! ewww.

Bedroom antics or lack of them - I've not been feeling too sexy and havent wanted to DTD. OH saw me in a bikini yesterday and said something i wont repeat as it was sooo smutty. I didnt know he knew such things lol.:p Its the thought of doing it rather than doing it itself. Laziness probably.

Lauzjp - Congratulations! Re mucus, feeding helps bring it up, he may be sick with it. If its in his mouth and he's choking on it, put your little finger in his cheek and hook it out. Dont panick it sounds worse than what it is.

LMAO @ Xmas "try not to eat it if you can help it!" Mel try a dairylee triangle instead!!

    oh and Morning all :)
