MGEB - PUSH!!!!!!!! LOL Hope it all goes well hun and you get your mummy cuddles soon...
Spent most of the day out with DH getting shopping in, so now got drinks for hospital bag, stocked up the freezer etc, and got bought some dvd's for being a good mummy to be
Being stretched hugely by this baby though, and my skin is so sore.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Sorry to hear ur being stretched Cafc, not long to go now! I just can't see how my belly can stretch much more! The skin feels quite tight now (not a good sign!) do you know roughly wat ur little man will weigh? I know sometimes MWs can work this out.
Fuzz: I sometimes feel like I'm getting paid to browse the forum, shop online and pay my bills, lol. Feel like I've lost interest in work these days. I share both my offices with 2 blokes (they seem to change desks when I do) and sometimes I get sick of their car talk and discussing women they wud 'give one' lol do they not know I'm there listening!0 -
Well i had a lovely day out shopping with the other half got some lovely tops from Primark.
On the down side the little s**t from next door has just come back from his dads with his latest toy they have only gone and bought him a mini moto !!!!!! grrrrrrr.
Mgeb i hope everything is going well for you.

Baby has been a bit quieter than normal today, I have still felt some movement so not too worried but will keep an eye on it this evening.
I have had a hell of a day (probably the reason I haven't felt baby much!!) feeling a bit down now. Ah well ds3 in bed after much screaming and tantrum throwing, not to do with going to bed, because he was over tired. Ds2 not feeling 100% so has also gone to bed, after taking some Medised and ds1 doing his homework....I am worn out! I have forgotten to take my Spatone this morning so am going to shove two sachets in one drink now haha x
I have been getting loads of discharge, can't remember as far back as last year and whether I got this with ds3!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Good luck MGEB.
had midwife app today, she was meant to take blood, said couldnt get it from either of my arms as she couldnt get veins up enough, tried hands and failed both times, was really sore. so need to go back and try again!!:j0 -
ask to see the Tissue Viability Nurse - they are wound experts (my mum is one!) and should be able to help you. You may need to persist a bit!
Thanks will do, they did mention that this morning but think she wanted the surgeon to take me back in to theatre. Spent 3 hrs at hospital and the dr I saw (who didn't perform the operation) thinks its fine and we should carry on with the daily packing.
Was very glad to get out the hospital - I was on the assessment unit with some really poorly elderly women bless 'em.0 -
Ethelsmum i hope everything starts healing for you soon it can't be nice having to have it packed out everyday. If it doesnt start improving though make sure you make a complete nuisence of yourself until they do something ((hugs)):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hi ladies and buf
Seems to have been the day for MW appointments today - I had mine for bloods, had a big talk about Rh- (which I am) and strep B (which I was with DD2). She's really lovely but we did have a case of 'mum knows best'!!
She was looking for the heartbeat really far down, almost into my pelvis and I said that at home with the doppler we have OH finds it much further up - she insisted that this wasnt beans HB as that was too high for 15 weeks and it must be mine (my doppler also has an LCD counter and I must have one helluva hearbeat at 150-odd bpm - that and the fact I can pick my (much slower) one up too. Anyway she spent AGES trying to find it and came "this" close to sending me for a scan but hey ho - guess where she found it??!!!!
Hope everyone is well - and I hope MBGE (are they the right initials?) is having mummy cuggles right now.
HUGS
