Thanks Smartie, think I will ask my MW Friday when I see her, I did mention about the movement thing to her the other week and she said that they do not bother with the '10 movements per hour' suggestion anymore as it worries people too much.

Glad you got your pushchair, it did look very nice on the site! I am still waiting for my OH to actually agree to one, think he wants power steering, 6 different gears, 17" alloy wheels and air con! Lol.

I keep getting a feeling my baby will come early, keep getting a strong feeling to pack my hospital bag just incase. Knowing my luck I will probably go 14 days overdue! I would be well ratty!! Don't wana quite pack the bag yet as I havent got everything plus all the cute baby clothes will get creased in the bag!!

Feel like I am bombarding this thread today! Just so bored in work!

Smartie if you're measuring that big I'd guess that you'll go early too:D:D
Just been drooling over prams/buggies/travel systems etc.....still not sure what we'll go for as we have VERY different opinions on what we'll need but at least I'm understanding some of the jargon now:D

KK I'm bored too:( not enough work to keep me occupied during the day, hence the constant posting and googling from me:o:)

Oh and I have to tell someone...I'm collecting my 1st ever item from Freecycle tonight:j..I've never got anything before, always seem to give it away rather than ask for it! Anyhoo, its a baby rocker in cream, thats all the info I have so fingers crossed it's ok, she says it needs a clean but apparently the cover is removable and hopefully washable, and it has the head thingy so can be used from birth:T I'm guessing it'll be decent coz it's from one of the nicer parts of my end of town:o:D
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
    [STRIKE]Car Loan = £0[/STRIKE] CCCS Total = £30,246.88 Total Debt Paid off - 32.78%
DFD [STRIKE]Nov[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sept[/STRIKE]Aug 2018:o Only 75 payments to go:)

Glad I'm not the only one bored in work!! I work between 2 offices and the office I need to collect rest of my work from there is a meeting going on so rather than interupt I'm just playing online!! Lol. My manager is also trying to lesson my workload gradually as I think my work will be shared out when I go on leave.

Well done on your freecycle find!! Those rockers normally are pretty good to wash and come up well, I have been looking for one at local car boot sales but no luck so far, plus theres also the fact that one wont fit in our living room with the swing I already have! I don't have much luck on freecycle, I've donated stuff before and it gets snapped up so quick, but my local page only ever has 'wanted' posts and nothing offered! Same with netmums!

At least you get to go between 2 offices:p I'm stuck in a small office with 3 fellas who only talk to me when I need to shout at them or they need something doing...other than that they just talk about football & cricket *YAWN* so I'm pretty much just getting paid to talk to you lot all day:j can't say fairer than that :rotfl: My local netmums board is ok but its full of people wanting to sell at ridiculous prices! I have put an ad on there for anyones unwanted reuseables though, mainly so I can have a proper look without having to pay for the trial things seeing as there's no bubba to trial it on yet:D Hopefully some chav from my end of town will have been given some and not have a clue what to do with them:p:rotfl:

Confuzzled, very cute ticker! Yay for your freecycle find too.

Kitkat, know what you mean about time flying - it went backwards before our 1st scan, slooowly until the 20wk, now down to 48 days to go  and it seems like time has speeded up somehow.

Well i am back from seeing the midwife....all was ok. I am measuring 35cm for 37 +2 wks and juniors head is still free :( was expecting it to be engaged by now!!!! Really dont want to go over due but dont suppose i really have much say in the matter. Better get bouncing on that ball. Must make more of an effort with the rlt too.

Tinks...i still am getting morning sickness but what i can manage to stomach has changed. I first started with lots of starchy things including cheese biscuits and pop corn and i found salt and vinegar crisps helped!! I also drank fizzy pop...ginger beer, lemonade and coke. Now i find i still need starchy foods but not to the same extent. I def recommend fizzy stuff as the bubbles have really helped me. I now cant get enough of elderflower cordial with fizzy water.

    xx
Beautiful baby boy arrived 20th June 2010...Harry..weighing 7lb 4oz on fathers day :j

Tinks; I had terrible sickness and found eating difficult but if I didnt eat it made me worse. I kept to very starchy things like plain jacket potatoes, and ready salted crisps were brilliant (I know not healthy but it was the main thing I could keep down) I know its not the best either but I found a bit of lucazade always helped me, or even a glass of milk. I had terrible eating habbits during my 1st 2 trimesters!!

Thanks for the advice will give it a go x
If you can think it........it will happen

    Morning all :)

Loving the weather now its cooled down a bit. Was looking forward to a bit of retail therapy later seeing as its pay day at last :T. Unfortuantely, my wound is not healing though and is 6cm deep (yuk!) so waiting for the surgeon's secretary to ring as I may have to be readmitted to hospital and get it sorted. The nurse doesn't think its going to heal cos my stomach is stretching all the time.
    Fingers crossed baby seems fine.

    Good luck MGEB!
ask to see the Tissue Viability Nurse - they are wound experts (my mum is one!) and should be able to help you. You may need to persist a bit!

crisps are not so bad as they once were as made with sunseed oil now i think!

any of you girls without enough work to do I would happily outsource some to you. I am seriously snowed under with work, and don't seem to ever get anything done anymore!! Bit fed up about it all! I am so tired I want to lie under the desk!!

I am now gonna pack up as i'm heading off to give a presentation at an evening work thing.

had annual review this aft, raised the issue of a risk assessment. went to HR who said go to Oc Health. Oc health said manager has to refer you  then they gave me a 10 page form to fill out and get manager to sign, after which they will write to me at my home address...who says the public sector's not efficient?!

I saw midwife today am 25+5 got my matb1 form and health in pregnancy grant form. asked about antenatal classes there are some on a thurs mornign run for 6wks and are 9.30-12 every week she gave me next date and said just turn up or can ring 2 local hospitals and see when theirs are as they may do an eve one - obv I can have time off work but husbands work wont let him have 6wks of every thurs morning off.

I was measuring 24wks but baby was laying across my lower stomach so she said this was fine. heartbeat was fine.

I had an asthma attack whilst with her - not had one for a year!! and hardly use inhaler, took my ventolin and had to convince her it was due to humidity etc at the moment and normally well controlled.

Considering aqua natal classes they are on a tues morning about an hr from work though so will have to see how they fit in esp if do thurs antenatal classes as although work would be fine about me having 2 mornings out as its part of maternity policy I would feel very very cheeky!
