    Afternoon from Sunny Devon

question???....I have started feeling sick since my 12 week scan.....I used to eat when I felt a bit off before and always felt better now that isn't working???? Any Tips?

My Mum has offered to look after babes when I want to go back to work :) thank goodness for mum's. She was still working when I had my daughter but is now retired and said she would be thrilled :D:j
If you can think it........it will happen

Tinkwings, sorry I haven't any advice re sickness....I also used to eat when feeling off colour and found it always worked. Nice for you that your mum is willing to help out with childcare when you go back to work:)

OMG I have 35 days left!!!!!!

    Oooo MGEB:j Can't wait for baby news:D

I saw my lovely midwife this morning:) Everything is fine....

    BUT...

When I asked if she thought I was big for 24 weeks she said yes so measured bubs and :eek::eek: I'm measuring at 27/28 weeks!!!:o:rotfl:

Looks like I might be having a big baby!!! I don't want a big baby!:o

This is actually really excellent news as midwife was worried that my Crohns would mean small baby with problems cos of not being able to take in nutrients etc.

And she said I MUST phone labour ward if I don't feel naughty giant bean wiggle again for a while. So next time I come on here moaning about no movement tell me off!!;)

Oh and pushchair has arrived and i'm going to open it and have a play later!!:)

Hi ladies glad you all survived the hot weather, saturday was awful here i didn't sleep a wink it was so hot, ended up on the sofa cos the leather was cool but woke up stuck to it which was nice!!!!!

I appear to have completely lost my appetite every time i sit down to eat i manage a few mouthfuls and thats it!

I also can't seem to stop crying we watched the last Lost last night and i cried the whole way through, heard the john lewis ad song on the radio cried all the way through!!!!

Am now trying to find the energy to do the ironing but work was manic this morn and i really can't be bothered especially as my mum has Lyla so i can just sit in peace!!!!
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

Redmel; wow 35 days! 82 days is still fairly far away but as you said Fuzz I bet it will fly by!! I know what you mean about time going quick, I still cant believe I am 28 weeks as it only seems 5 mins ago I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant!

My lovely mum gave me some bits she had bought last night; pink debenhams sleepsuit (maybe she is expecting a girl or a very pink boy!!), a yellow mothercare 'i love my daddy' sleepsuit, a very soft and fluffy kaloo sleepsuit (this is sooo gorgeous! its a really soft fleece with little nobbly bits!) and a cute white fleecy jacket. All very nice :D

My OH reckons the pink sleepsuit looks just like a nobbly bobbly icecream (as it has spots of color all over it) and is concerned if the baby wears it I may eat the baby as I have been living off nobbly bobbly recently :A lol. Men!!

Tinks; I had terrible sickness and found eating difficult but if I didnt eat it made me worse. I kept to very starchy things like plain jacket potatoes, and ready salted crisps were brilliant (I know not healthy but it was the main thing I could keep down) I know its not the best either but I found a bit of lucazade always helped me, or even a glass of milk. I had terrible eating habbits during my 1st 2 trimesters!!

Smartie; thats great news about your measurements!! I had a day of barely any movement from bubs yesterday, worried me like hell! Then he/she made up for it last nite!! But I have to admit I wouldnt even know who to contact if I was concerned about lack of movements, I have a number for my MW that is a hospital 3 hours away from me and they just take a message and a MW calls you back later that day!

I had to ask MW what exactly do I do if I'm worried and she said to phone labour ward and they'd get me in for monitoring.

She also said not to worry about feeling silly. They'd rather ladies go and get checked even if bubs starts moving as soon as it's on the monitor than someone sitting at home worrying about looking stupid and there's a problem.

Just been playing with pushchair... after taking a degree in how to adjust it etc!!:rotfl:It is luuuuurvely:D:D:D And the cats are happy with the big box it came in;):rotfl:

111 days to go! Although I'm still certain bubs will make an appearance earlier.
