    1more - I hope u don't mind me asking but when you went to see the consultant did they advise you to have a c section because of the spd? I'm suffering really badly with it, to the point that i can barely walk most days and i was actually going to ask the consultant about me having a c section when i go to see him/her on wednesday. I just don't see how i can give birth normally when i can barely open my legs and i have a problem with my back as well.

    Im not sure what to advise you really, i've read that plenty of women with spd have easy straightforward births, but then i guess theres always the possibility of things not going to plan. If you do decide to have a natural birth then the fact that you have spd should be very well documented in your notes and also before you are due, you should measure how far you can open your legs without pain and the midwives should apparantly always be aware of how far you can open your legs. I found this a really good website if your interested;

    moneysaver - My feet and ankles have swelled up quite a bit the last few days, i've just put it down to the heat. Try keeping them elevated and try and drink a bit more fluid as well :) maybe best just to keep an eye on them tho and get them checked out if the swelling dosnt go down a bit x

    Luce SPD sufferers can have perfectly normal births mostly due to the fact that once baby is engaged it can stabalise your pelvis again. As i said to another poster on here its no miracle cure but you would be surprised how much it can ease. Another thing alot of SPD sufferers recommend is a water birth as the water takes alot of the pressure of the pelvis :-)

    Money saver yes i do and i have on many of an occasion i dont know what comes over me i just burst into tears :-(

    I think I have just added you - if you have a request from a JW then I got the right person.

    I think that its pretty cool your mum is keeping the baby's stuff in your old room.

    4lbs is just so dinky. I thought DD2 was small at just over 6lb but she was on the NICU and all the other babies in there were 2lb peemies so she looked enormous!!

    Thanks for ur add! Those pics are amazing showing all the hard work you had to put in, ur daughters photography is pretty amazing also!

    Wish we cud do stuff to our house but it's rented. We are hoping to try save a deposit and look into building our own place in the next few years, think we've got the land sorted it's just the money we need! Baby 1st tho!

    Evening everyone

    Have skimmed back but can't remember much, sorry.

    Someone mentioned swollen hands and feet, mine are too. I have put it down to the heat as they are also soooo hot and feet like they are about to burst into flames any minute, it's driving me mad!!

    We have had a lovely day today, were meant to go to the beach but ds2 woke up saying he didn't feel too well, so we decided to wait a couple of hours and see how he was then go somewhere a bit more local if he was up to it. About 10am we packed up a picnic and went to the woods, which are only 10mins away and we had the most amazing time, the dog loved every minute, and LO was in his element too, he was absolutely filthy by the time we got home at 2.30pm.....the way it should be. the older two enjoyed themselves and had taken footballs so spent ages having a kick about.

    When we gt home I slept for two hours!!! Just going to watch a film now and then into bed...I think it is meant to be nice tomorrow but slightly cooler than the last few days:)

    Lovin ya n leavin ya for now xx

    Can't sleep not like me at all but i am getting quite hefty now. I see the mw later today lets hope bubs is in a good position as i'm all ready to go now, house still halfway through being decorated, bag only half packed, cot still in garage but I've had enough of being pregnant now - I WANT MY BODY BACK - a new baby will be nice too but i really want my body back.

    morning all

    Slept badly like most other people I imagine. Scan is at 9am, we need to jump on the bus about 8.15 according to DH (though we'll be very early therefore!). I am going to ask to see a mw whilst I'm there and tell them how low my bp has been and about the dizziness, see if they want to take any blood.

    feel nervous this morning about the scan, will be good to (hopefully) see bubs as still not feeling much movement, which I know is ok...but would still like to put my mind at rest!
