Hi all
Just popping on from work to say scan was fine – everything that should be there is there and in the correct sizes! Didn’t find out the gender as we didn’t want to, so I am staying on team yellow. Was very impressed, we were there a bit early and went in at 8.50 for 9am apt, out at 9.15. Bit of a drag getting to work but got here about 11am in the end.
Will put pics on later. xMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hello all!
Back to work today, its 30 degrees c in my office  feeling very warm!
Just read apparently the government are scrapping the Child Trust Fund scheme where you get £250 paid in on the birth of your baby and another £250 when the child is 7. Apparently its stoppin August! How bloody typical is that?!
Bufger; I know wot you mean about cars and being pregnant! 2010 really does seem to be the year to be pregnant, lots of people I went to school seem to be! I changed my car a couple of months ago and I am sure every other car on the road is the same one! I also follow one the same colour and registration to work every day! If lots of people have the same one its gota be that good everyone wants one! Lol.
Rach: glad your scan went well!0 -
Rach - Fab news on your scanIf you can think it........it will happen0

Thanks:D Think I've somehow made you my pregnancy advisor:o:p:rotfl:, I think it is bubs stretching coz it feel really hard and tight around that area today.xmaslolly76 wrote: »Confuzzled sounds like either bubs is laying on something they shouldnt or your stretching down there to accomodate. I used to get shooting pains down there with the last one it was bubs messing with things the little monkey. If they get any worse i would have a quick word with the midwife just to reassure yourself :-)

Sorry Fuzz I think I read it wrong, think I read in on MSN and just noticed its on here as the latest news! Its just a pain to think they change it when its our turn!! I had this when I left college they brought in that thing where you get paid to attend the year I left, I was so annoyed!0 -
Slm; I hope they dont scrap it! I think that £190 is so handy when your pregnant. I have had mine already but I think it is vital! Especially if you don't qualify for the SureStart grant.0
