    Hello all

wore my maternity skirt today I got off ebay and was very comfy for work.

My blooming marvellous order of dress and top came today ordered normal sz 12 and both huge especially around neckline and bust and will have to go back very annoying as postage was £5 and will cost me to send them back, not impressed with quality or sizing may email them later also.

Husband went to docs today he has viral gastroenteritus so has been signed off work for a week which he needed as has had squits now for 6 days!!

I have midwife tommorow best be the normal one who I have seen once!! rather than the rubbish cover one who I saw once! can you believe at 25wks I have only been seen by midwife twice - shocking.

Freebie - By 25 weeks I'd only been seen twice.... my booking appt was at 18 weeks....

Confuzzled - Yeah he's gonna be Landen. I wanna spell it with an "e" mainly because a lot of family are southern, and everyone takes the p!ss by pronouncing like some cockney, and making it sound like London....

Not much to report today, took dog for a long walk round to sisters to collect our post, poor thing was sying when we got home. Bleedin' hot here as well but not as bad as yesterday thank god.

Had a mac d's for lunch and wish we hadn't bothered now, was gross. I seem to have lost my appetite quite a bit, and I just want to drink all the time. Got mad cravings for fruit juice but tragically they are giving me the WORST heartburn, must be all the acidity.....

Baby has been very squirmy past few days and today had this really sharp stabbing pain like I was being bitten about 2 inches up from belly button, over to the right. Couldnt find any part of baby under there to be responsible but its driving me insane.

Also have had eruption of stretch marks which are piercing!!!!! They itch like mad and and literally popping up in an hour from the first twinge..... I was doing so well with them and now they are just everywhere!!!

Also got incredibly fed up with DH.... and still am if i'm honest, I know its just hormonal, but he's on his days off, so i know he deserves a rest etc but its still left to me to do everything in the house..... yesterday it was me who made lunch, washed up, did the laundry, prepped and cooked dinner, and today its been me doing the washing up, laundry, hoovering, changing the bed linen etc.....

I dont mind that he doesnt do it per se, its just that he doesnt ask me if anything needs doing, or when he quite clearly knows I've got started on it, doesnt offer me any help....

I'm just moaning now so feel a bit mean because he is a good guy...... im just fed up of the baby.......

    Hi Folks!

sory for the epic post but i need to get the stress out!

Well what an eventful weekend I've had, on Saturday went to watch my sons football, 7 10 minute games but it was in scorchio heat 25 degrees, which is pretty much unheard of in these parts! had to go and lie down in the changin rooms as everything started spinning and my legs went all wobbly - not good!
In the afternoon we went out to the park and had a picnic then to the carnivals for tea which was lovely!
Yesterday we decided quite late on to go out for a barbie as the weather had cleared up somewhat from the clouds in the morning bought all our bbq stuff and headed inland about 40 minutes drive, OH stopped the car at the entrance to the park to let a car come out and a man in a pick up truck didnt notice we had stopped a smashed into the back of our car . both my boys started screaming as the rear windscreen smashed on impact and we were shunted forward about 5 feet, almost into the car coming out of the car park, the noise of the car screeching and the bang as it hit us was awful! the guy owned a garage so went to get a trailer to move our car and offered us a car to get home, but as their was glass all over the road i phoned the police to ask their advice they turned up and after speaking to my oldest son who had pains in his neck / back called for an ambulance straight away, youngest was fine and i only had pain from the belt but was obviously really stressed about bubs.
Eventually we ended up with two ambulances that took my OH and DS1 to hospital, both of them were strapped to boards and kept like that for about 4 hours whilst all the checks / xrays were done, luckily both of them had whiplash and nothing else showed up.
I got checked over then sent down to the maternity to be checked by the most awful midwife who stood in front of me speaking to an auxilary saying "oh what will we do? babies are very protected people worry too much, what do you want us to do" i told her i wanted to be checked out as i was worried with the seatbelt impact she said well i suppose we could listen in, after 30 mins she came back to me and it took about 5-10mins to find the hearbeat which is the longest time ever, all was well though which is a huge relief! but if she is there when i go into labour i will turn around and walk out would rather have the baby in the car park :p
Today i've woken up in lots of pain and i'm finding it difficult to move my neck etc so i'm off to the doc tomorrow
Eventually left the hospital and got home about 1am after we had found a baker and had something to eat as we hadn't eaten since a late breakfast.
Hope all you ladies and bumpies are good xx

Budgetblonde - Where have you been, did you enjoy yourself.

Starting to get a real achey pelvis and muscular/ligament pain in my lower tummy....only 5 wks left so will try not to moan too much.

It is beautiful weather today but not as hot as the last few days and a lovely breeze to go with it:)

Hi xmaslolly, from what I read of the child trust funds, they were continuing the £250 initial payment upto the end of this year but from August, any additional payments like the extra when your child gets to age 7 or if you receive extra each month because your child has a disability - that is what is being axed from August.

edit - just re-read the MSE article, it says we would still get £50 once the baby is born but that is different to what i read on the bbc news website so I am off to check that again.

edit 2 - yes, bbc website now says same as MSE article. :(

ah well! its not like my son's current trust fund is performing anyway! its worth less than the £250 that was put in the scheme! grrrr!
