Definitely have a chat with your GP and get either him or your MW to go through your blood resuts with you.

Definitely get clarification on whether you are anaemic or not. If not I see no reason to be taking them....but 'they' may have a reason so ask them that too.
An alternative to the iron tablets is Spatone liquid which is MUCH gentler on the digestive system...I really can not hack taking the tablets, but have been managing the Spatone fine. I don't think doctors will prescribe it though, it can be bought at most chemists but they may need to order it in for you though as it comes in quite a big box so most don't keep it in stock:)

I've never had iron tablets either, years ago they use to hand them out for fun. Not now, I'm guessing your blood tests showed low levels up. Have you not got the paperwork from your bloods to check yourself? I received all mine through the post but Im booked in for a home birth so thats the norm.
Shortening names - If your prefer Theo or Joe or whatever then go for it. I have a Tom , I wasnt overkeen on thomas..but I love Tom and thats what he's called and its different from the others, although he has had some teachers try calling him Thomas ??!
Does anyone buy nappies from Lidls? If so, Are they any good? I use washable nappies but need disposals for when we drive to France soon and there's a Lidls there.0 -
Morning girls and boy. Enjoyed a lovely bbq with oh last night while dd was having a sleepover at mil. It was boiling here but managed to keep house nice and cool so i just pottered about inside. I thought I had done really well coping with the heat - drank loads of ice water stayed in the shade but OMG when i looked at my feet at about 8pm SOMEONE HAD STOLEN MY ANKLES AND TURNED MY TOES TO SAUSAGES. Thankfully they are back to normal this morning feet up 4 me today:DMam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0

im currently 22 wks pregnant with my first baby, had my big scan last week, and im on team blue :j
just had a browse over the past few pages RE names im feeling the dilemma myself at the moment. i had LOTS of beautiful girls names written down, and NO boys names. the only one i like is Noah which my OH hates as he thinks it sounds gay?? so we are having a slight disagreement on that frontgetting a bit sick of trying to pick a name so might just wing it and see when the baby is born what i like.
Dreambirdie congrats on team blue, seems like we are taking over this thread at the mo!!:j:j
I had the same thing regarding names, had loads of ideas for girls as to be honest the names are much more prettier. I have about 3 to 4 for boys but think like you will be arguing with DH about it!!
Going to try to avoid the heat today by staying indoors then going for a cooling swim, in my air conditioned car wearing my new maternity tankini from mothercare reduced from £22 to £8, which is a lovely blue colour (fit in with bubs :rotfl::rotfl:). Just dreading tomorrow going to work as still be so hot and probably getting little sleep tonightThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces
