I know I haven't been on here for a while but I was on the EDD list and I can't find it now to update!

I had a little girl on 2nd May (my original due date was 4th May) called Louisa Molly who was 9lb 2oz when she was born.

Please can someone update the list for me please. It has been a bit hectic here to say the least with three other children to look after as well as the new baby, but am slowly getting into a routine with everything.

Thanks and good luck all of you who are still waiting for your babies to arrive.

    Congratulations Rachelet!!:T:T:T

Congratulations on team blue Suzy!!:D My OH has 2 girls and literally everyone has said oh he'll be pleased (with team blueness) - funny cos he really honestly would have been happy either way!

Xmas - thanks for the info on the health scheme - I'm in Westfield, only on the 2nd tier but I'll investigate, I'd never have thought to look.

No-one should feel bad about using disposable nappies/bottle feeding/etc etc!! Kitkat - you should tell your OH that he has to do all the washing (& drying) for the rest of your pregnancy until you'll consider using reusables!!

Disposable liners - they were about £2.50 for 200 in wilkos - last week they were half price.:D Not sure if that's still on offer. I plan on using disposable liners at least until poos are more solid! May consider washable ones then but we'll see.

I'm off to see my friends tomorrow:T:T My pregnant friend has had chicken pox but didn't get my text until monday hence the lack of reply, she's fine seeing me:D:D Which is good I feel like I need to get away from our noisy house - loud music from different rooms is becoming the norm at the moment and is really stressing me out! How old am I?!:rotfl:

Thanks for the congratulations. Everything was fine for the birth, but it was all over in only 3 hours! I woke up at 3am to go for a wee, started to feel contractions and then my waters started to go at about 3:30am. I got to the hospital at about 5am with my waters breaking in the car (luckily had lots of towels on the seat!) and when they examined me I was 8cm dilated already. My husband had to go back home as he had to look after the other three kids, so I ended up giving birth by myself at 6:00am after only about 4 pushes and no pain relief!

Definitely not having any more children as I don't think I will make it to the hospital next time as all my labours have gotten quicker over time.

I was expecting a large baby as I had had extra scans at the end of the pregnancy to check the baby wasn't too big as I am only 5ft 1in tall. This baby was only about 1lb bigger than my others so wasn't too big. I was frightened she was going to be over 10lb for a while!

That's why I choose home births. My first labour was 4 hours and they all halved each time. Don't let it put you off having more children though as if you wished you could be induced so your in a hospital enviroment. Not sure on what they do in France but it could be an option

Well done and what a nice delivery story:)
