Morning all. Nurse just been to pack my wound and its all opening up now :( Looks like its another 2 weeks of work at least. Really fed up now, just want to be on the mend, and it hurts having it packed everyday. Feeling close to tears this morning with it all.

Smartie - that's really quick for your cot :T

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi ladies,

So was originally due on 17th, changed to 13th, and still here at 40+6, waiting for my baby to show. Had sweep yesterday (no as bad as feared!) and had loads of contractions yesterday evening but stopped as soon as I went to bed. Doh!

Am bored of waiting and just want to meet my baby boy. :( On a brighter note, midwife said cervix is short, soft and I am 3cm dilated, so hopefully when my waters go things will start to happen. Any tips on how to get them to break, or is patience a virtue I need to acquire, and quick??
Debt free as of July 2010 :j

Rach: Prob is OH completed COD ages ago but he is hooked on online playing, he was on it from 8pm until 11pm last nite  I was so tired went to bed, and then he comes to bed all hyper wanting to talk and I just wana sleep :p. Well done on ur ASDA bargains, wish I had one nearer as I bought some stuff online few weeks ago and its all really good quality, i love the hungry caterpillar range!

Suzy; thats good then if your glad to be out of your work, think I am fortunate with my job atm but prob is I work with all men and no women, so they often don't realise I cant do everything and aren't the most symathetic bunch to a pregnant lady! I am sure my consultant letter isnt anything to worry about, just me overthinking!

Work is so hot today :( dont think I can cope with this until 30th July

Smartie; I found Kiddicare really good for delivery, I ordered a swing and I had a text the next day saying it was being delivered between 1-2pm which I thought was very good service!

Yes I'm very impressed!! Wasn't intending to get the cot so early but thought I'd better order incase they disappeared or something:o

I also pre ordered the pushchair from there as well and have been impressed with the updates they send:) It's always worrying when you pre-order something and not hear anything!!

Not happy with debenhams though:( As I loved the bunny sleepsuits I ordered some chick ones as well plus a blanket... they took the money out of bank straightaway but I've only just had an email saying it's been dispatched this morning nearly a week later!!!
