Hi ladies this is my first visit to the board im 29weeks pregnant with my second.
was just wondering if other peoples comments saying you look 'huge' get to anyone :-(
im being silly and should probably just ignore it but the woman at dd's nursery today looked shocked when i told her how long i had left and was like omg your huge arnt you.
old people around here are even worse, my nan included. I hate how people suddenly feel they have the right to comment on what you look like just because your pregnant.

The thing is i must have body dyspmorphia or something cz i really dont think im that big at all, im a size 10 and just like with my first daughter i haven't put any weight on anywhere i just look like my usual self but with a bump, i just dont get where people come from im still wearing the same size 10 jeans for gods sake how big can i possibly be.
I dont know if its because im quite tall and skinny so its obvious on me and people comment on it or what, i dont enjoy the actual being pregnant part at all and it gets me down when people come out with things like that. makes me wonder how im going to manage another 10 weeks.

sorry for crashing the thread with my whining but had to have a rant somewhere.
hope all you 'huge' ladies are well lol

Beauty they probably don't mean to offend and if you have a lovely neat size 10 figure they more than likely just mean your bump looks huge I had it all the time with my last one unfortunately this time I have spread all over so I am huge lol. Yes It gets not down but you can't really stop It so i just grit my teeth and smile :-)

They never have that Tesco Pampers box thingy freebie in stock at my local store :(

Same here!! My store had it for WEEKS when my voucher hadnt even come through, it was like they were teasing me! Then my voucher arrives and blimmin typical; no stock at all! Cant believe it!!! I keep asking the staff and they always say 'sold out' strange how its been sold out since beginning of March  but I am determined to get it, its free after all!

Nice pushchair :) I still don't know wot to go for, think I wana pushchair like yours, but OH wants a travel system, sooo confused! But then I kinda want a pram also... !

Beauty; I find people assume when your pregnant they can insult you as much as poss!! I always find people say I look big/ small/ tired/ etc.

wow that is a good deal...is it black or grey? not that i'm really bothered about colour! it's now £195 but the offers do seem to come and go on there so i could keep looking! same on mothercare right now. The cheaper we get it the better as obviously i don't want mum to spend above the odds and also she might spend the rest of the money on something else!!

Black which I personally think is a lot better:)

Can only see the grey one on there now?? I'm sure it will be on offer again soon somewhere. If I see it cheap again I'll let you know;)

The cot has arrived:j:j:j Not putting it together just yet... although I can see myself getting impatient and getting it done tomorrow:rotfl:

ClareEmily, that's a cute pic, baby looks almost like it's having a snooze.

I'm so over work now it's unreal. They've changed the company logo and all it's associated carp - apparently we have to 'feel every word' now !!!!!!? Basically all it means is that they sacked loads of us last year, and cut people's hours, mine included, and now they want us to increase our workload by so much it's not actually realistic. I'm going to do my damndest not to go back there, it's not what I'm trained to do, and it's definately not what I want to do. Grrr, sorrry for the rant, I don't even know why I still care, I've got about 17 shifts left :j

smartie - i prefer the black too :) think we'll def wait for a deal as we have plenty of time and can always get mum's cc details to pay for it with! will go and try them out next week though. my only worry is that i've heard the handles are quite high and i'm only 5ft!

clareemily - great pic, my scan is monday, also at 21+2. am looking forward to it but worried too.

shhhh, my hubby works for the same company and we both agree the new branding is sh!te. I mean, lower case letters too !!!!!!!!! And I aso agree about the stress of all the redundancies last year and they're now offering out overtime right, left and centre. They've even started recruiting again at hubby's branch!

I've overdone it today with the SPD and am hurting quite a bit this evening. I really really wanted to go to the home birth info evening but looking on the map it seems quite a long walk from where we'd park to the place so I really don't know now. They're on every month and I do have a while to go but still, I was really looking forward to it :(

Oh Bexta, it's not 'get selling' anymore it's now 'spread the word' AND all those blue headers you had in last week? They've only just realised you can't see them against black so they're being scrapped and replaced after a week.

I met hubby there but I hate them too, coud !!!!! alllllllll day long (in fact I frequently do! :rotfl::rotfl:)
