Wow freebie, ur very organised! I have 2 packs of size 1 and 1 pack of size 2, also got about 6 packs of wipes as I use them to take make up off but might need more!0
-
Yay Baby Girl - Congratulations xx
Freebie - we got 12 x 72 packs of wipes from Morrissons for £9,pampers sensitive with aloe and camomile
I've been trying to work out nappies as well but once bubs is here you dont know how quick they might/might not grow so you dont wanna have too many in early sizes I would have thought....I'd say you've probably got enough to be getting on with....
I think average per day also depends on whether bottle or breast fed baby....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

you never know you might have the cleanest baby ever known to man :T
although I'd say to be on the safe side, perhaps a few more....
we've got a drawer full of them LOL currently has 21 packs in it.... not to mention the small travel packs of wipes I got from £1land :AWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I doubt I will have the cleanest baby! Knowing my luck baby will be very messy as I am really not good with sick, poo or wee! Bt I will have to learn to cope! I will keep picking up wipes on offer when I'm shopping, if nappies are on offer I'll get couple more packs but am hoping if I don't buy too many it will motivate me to take the baby out to buy nappies within the first couple of weeks of having him/her with OH or my mum in tow of course!0
-
thats a good idea KitKat...... I can see myself holing up indoors for a month for ours just because we've got so much.....
according to my mum when the poo/sick/wee is from your own kid you dont care so much..... i did tell her that if he pees in my face im pretty sure i'll differ from that opinion!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Congratulations Babygirl look forward to reading your birth story :-)
Nappies: Well i found with my three that they grew out of the size 1's really quickly only had 3 packs they were in the size two's for abit longer approx 4-5 pack worth, size 3's for very little time and then size fours for quite a while but then my Babies have all tended to grow very quickly for the first 5-6 months then slow right down.
You will normally find you can switch to size 2 really quickly regardless of if they have grown out of size one this can help with costs as you tend to be able to get the bigger more substanial packs of size 2's cheaper :-)
Cafc your mom is right and as for the wee in the face i find it really funny although the thought of it used to gross me out before i had any kids. The little angels know exactly how to time it as well and boys are far more likely to get you in the face where as girls just make a mess of their clothes so you have to change them all over again. i have always found it easier to place the clean nappy under them before you remove the dirty one if you hold them by their ankles and lift them slightly you can clean them and place the dirty wipes inside the dirty nappy move it away then wrap the clean one over them before they have time to get you :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
