    Evening everyone

Congrats on the baby girl, love the name Maisie

Re pushchairs/travel systems spent lot of the weekend looking at them in mothercare, toysrus and john lewis. So much choice my head was hurting at the end. I want a travel system as I think we will be driving places and don't want to disturb bubs. Also I would love a buggy you can alter betweeb rear and forward facing but to get that would be more than £150 - do people think its worth it?? Looked at the quinnys but I found them quite bulky and not much storage, whereas the gracos are quite good for storage.

Re nappies I also have been buying on offers have 2 packs at mo but will get some more but have loads of time (hopefully) yet!

congrats to the new mummies, vibes to the late ladies, and welcome to the newcomers!
well i am having a tough time, i feel very short tempered and snappy and unfortunately the person getting the brunt is my 3 year old DS as he here all day. i am trying really hard not to snap at him but i am having real trouble, everything he does is seeming to irritate me then as soon as he is in bed i spend an hour crying about how bad i feel being mean! i think having a head ache for over a week is not helping!
sorry to be a moaner but was just venting.
also sorry im a bit dumb pls can someone add me ,edd 18 oct team yellow, to the list as i will just mess it up! thanks guys

Billy & SLM i have added you both to the EDD list welcome and congratulations to you both :-)

Cafc can i be adopted by your mom she sounds lovely not just for buying you things but she seems to have given you loads of support. I lost the woman i classed as my mom nearly two years ago now she never got to know about bubs we only found out i was carrying him the day after she died. I was a real mix of emotions that day and still to this day feel so sad that she never knew. My real mother is a complete waste of skin and other than give birth to me has done nothing for me my whole life infact if i never see her again it will be to soon....... Sorry im being all over emotional today must be the hormones:(

Billybob have you been to see your doctor about your head ache you really shouldnt be suffering for a week with it. I'm sure your little one still thinks your the best Mommy in the world :)

im the same KitKat, Im nervous about trying to manhandle a pushchair in shops etc so like you it'd be good to need to pop out for something, its like the extra push to actually go out.....
P.S Will have your voucher in the post tomorrow for you x

Managed to hoover our living room in the never ending battle against Pug hair.... drives me insane, spent most of my time on my hands and knees with the sucker getting individual hairs as the actual attachment seems to only get the freshly fallen ones...
Can see Im gonna have to do it every other day to stay on top of it.....

Thanks for doing that for me Cafc :D very kind of you :D think I'm bit scared about getting a baby in and out of car, and pushing a pram thru a busy shop, people keep walking into me now and I worry about my bump being knocked, think I would loose it if someone knocked into my baby when i was carrying them or they were in pram. What's owning a pug like? I would love one but my jack russell gets jealous if I even look at another dog! Let's hope he is okay with a baby. Lucky you with your mum, my mum has been going car boot crazy and bought me some lovely bits when she went shopping Friday from next and mothercare. OHs mum however... She's just slagging off everything I do or buy.
All the best for tomorrow Choccy, will be thinking of you. Can't wait to hear an update from you!
