We all had the longest lie in yesterday! DS was in a show Friday and Saturday nights, not getting to bed til after 10pm, and DH, DD and I went to watch on the Saturday night, so on Sunday morning I woke at 10.20am and everyone else was still snoring!! The only trouble was, I wasn't tired last night so ended up in bed after 12
I've had four "God you're HUGE" comments in the space of 15 mins up at school this morning! It's getting slightly wearing.. lol Oh well, only 32 days to go!!
Have a lovely day everyone xxx
Oh and GOOD LUCK CHOCCY!!!!!
have you put bump pics on here? i would be interested to see what others consider huge bumps, they just all look huge to me!MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
Morning everyone,
Just wanted to pop in and say GOOD LUCK CHOCCY! Can't wait to hear/read your birth story!
Gosh, I don't know how some of you manage with your MILs! I would really struggle to keep my mouth shut. Luckily my MIL is lovely...... bonkers, but lovely. But the in laws live in East Africa so not like we are seeing them that often at the moment for them to interfere.
Due date is a week tomorrow, still no bubs...... I was so convinced bubs would be here by now. Feel like I'm wasting my Maternity Leave. Think I'm coming down with something as I have the mother (in law!) of all headaches and sore throat. Bleugh.Back on the MFW Wagon!

Happy Birthday Suzy! Fab that you got to have a lie in, makes the day seem better if you're not having to rush about.
I'm quite lucky with OH mum, she's nearly 80 and almost blind, so can't do much by way of interfering. As long as she can talk about her late husband and son, and there's a toilet nearby, she's happy! It was different when we lived there when OH was her carer, but that's done with now.

Morning ladies!!! Over the weekend Ive had some strange 'sensations' in my left boob/nipple area, it feels like 'tingling', is this a sign that my boob(s) are starting to fill up/grow???Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0

Aww Bufger there is nothing you can do apart from reassure her and keep the hugs on tap. The very fact she is worrying so much about it says to me she will be a wonderful Mommy. I've just had a thought i will PM you :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hi ladies and bufger
I thought i would delurk today from the less than 12 weeks thread as I am 13 weeks today! Feel like I'm starting the 'big school'! Lol.
A quick query for Bexta - the ikea range you mentioned a few pages back, do u know when it is being discontinued? I looked at this last time I was in ikea and really liked it but I think I'm too early to be thinking about nursery furniture.:j Little Star due 15.11.10 :j0 -
Hello all
havent been on much (god i am so tired!) im 4 months now (eeeeeeeks...really excited)
Started to get the nursery sorted, cant wait to start putting things in drawers and making it look like a baby is really coming!
Been having weird tummy things (movement?) like bubbles..boobs are killing me...leak like theirs no stopping them at night time, but bra and pads is just too sore to even think about...so gross leakage it is!
Hope everyone else is doing well and buns and cooking nicely xxxx0 -
Bexta; MIL said something about tying hands to stop the baby scratching themselves, I showed her the scratch mitts I had been given by my sis and she just laughed!
Happy Birthday Suzy! When me and OH were TTC I used to get so jealous of pregnant women, they seemed to be popping up everywhere! I think cot bumpers are a must have with wooden cots as the sides are so hard if a baby hits their head/ etc.
Smartie; Sorry to hear you feeling low, hormones are sh*t arent they. I'm suffering with asthma and hayfever, but I know you have other health issues too and with being pregnant also it must be a nightmare. One thing I find helps my hayfever (as you cant take much being pregnant) is having a spoon full of local honey in a cup of tea instead of sugar, it doesnt taste too bad and seems to help.
My family are great, really helping. My dad was the only negative one initially with my pregnancy saying how screwed we would be for money as OH wasnt working. OHs family aren't the best, its just his mum and brothers who seem all self to be honest, they think they are better than anyone else when I really cant see why!
1more: I dont blame you for booting them out of your life, I wish I could with OHs family, we're not married... yet and I really dont want to marry purely because of his family. We talked about it at the weekend and I wouldnt even want them at the wedding especially MIL as I know she would end up hideously drunk and end up ruining the wedding, so thats our marriage on hold!
I've got a pain around my bump, had it last night and still got it today, the baby is kicking none stop so I am sure they're ok but I am unsure what it is, any ideas? I've been having ligament stretching pain but this is a different area, almost like a pulled muscle? Should I be concerned? Dont really wana phone my MW as I have to call a hospital somewhere in Wales about 4 hours from me, then they take details and leave message with local hospital, and I get a call back tonight...!0
