I wore mine yesterday! Probably not a brilliant idea though as its nearly impossible to drive in them, i drove everywhere barefoot and the got mah cheesy toes out for everyone to see (they're really very white, they havent seen sun in a long time!)

Please dont cry, my OH is crying alot lately too and i have no idea what i can do to help! She's crying because she's scared she wont bond with the baby when its born :(. Bufgers hug of the day goes to you :T

Awwww thank you:o:D Mrs Bufger is very lucky to have you;)

I do feel a little better cos I got some bits in tesco £3 instead of £8 with all the vouchers I used!:j And I have £10 to spend at Mamas & Papas:j Sadly there isn't a store nearby so I'll have to pay P&P.

And it's sunny here!!! It was actually very warm in the car:)

Thanks for honey tip Kitkat:) I don't like honey though:(

    Oh and happy birthday Suzy_party_

Ok wow that is absolutely MASSIVE! the biggest bump ive ever seen. Perhaps its your size that makes it look bigger? my OH is the same size as you (by the looks of it anyway).

Hows it affecting your back and hips?

Looking great though, thats one very nice smooth bump!

    Happy Birthday Suzy

Good luck chocky - wonder how many cm's you are right now ;)

Looks like you'll be the next birth story wildfrog - good luck :D

Saz - I would say a very healthy looking bump - not 'huge' :p

I'm still feeling sick at almost 13 weeks and it NEEDS to stop ;)

I have a question anyway - what are all your thoughts on a home doppler. I don't need one for anxiety reasons - I'm just an impaitient wench who would like to her the heartbeat often - however, I am nervous of not being able to find it IYSWIM although the reviews don't indicate that this is a problem!!

    Thanks in advance

I use the doppler every night and i dont find it hard at all to find the heartbeat. Sometimes it takes up to 5 mins but thats it really, you can hear it faintly and then you just move towards the sound IYSWIM.

For £20 i think its a bargain as i get to listen in every night. Last night we let my parents and my OH parents listen in too and they loved it!

Thanks Bufger - I'm still not sure though whether I would freak out if it took me that long to find it!!

I definitely think they are worth the money - just cant decide - lol

Hi everyone :) Loving the Bump Pics:D Can't wait til mine is properly noticeable, I just look like I've had a few too many cakes atm:p:D

Happy Birthday to Suzy:D Hope you're having a fab day.
Labour vibes to those in need, especially Choccy:D:D

TT I was gonna get a doppler but then DH vetoed it:( mainly coz he knows I'm a worry wart and a techno phobe so put the 2 together and he'd end up with a very stressed out wifey:o:rotfl: I've agreed to wait til I have my MW appointments to hear it...which I can't wait for! Not heard the hb yet but should be able to at my 16wk check next Monday:j so excited/nervous:D

Meh..was gonna say more but can't remember now.....oh yeah, I got really restless legs atm but only when I'm sat at my desk, is it worth mentioning to mw?? Think it stems from my back which I've always had prbs with.

I'm officially 15wks pg....seems to have flown since I had the scan:T I'm still getting the nausea on and off but I think thats more to do with my stomach being tender from the aches and pains than anything else...anyone wanna agree with me so I don't go into a mad panic??:rotfl:

Hope everythings ok with everyone and appropriate vibes to everyone xxxx

We decided NO to a doppler. Having had lots of scares/worries/stresses I didn't want to add to the panics by not finding a heartbeat.

My midwife got me to record bean's heartbeat on my mobile when she found it, so listening to that recording is extra special:D

Aw smartie...i'm the same - no family on my side, being preg makes me realise how much i'd love to ask my mum (or dad) stuff about when she was preg with me but neither are about :( It's funny but i never cared that i had no family till i was preg with DD.

I was popping in to say hi, and see how everyone was getting on. I wanna post a photo from my facebook but it's the whole of me, not just belly lol - so i'll no longer be annon...what do you all reckon? :)

    :D

Oh and does anyone know when the internal checks start? I'm 38wks now, saw midwife last week and she reckons it'll be v.soon (but they have been saying that for while, lol and i reckon i'll go overdue just to prove them all wrong :p) His head engaged, with back to my tummy which apparently means he is set to come out at the perfect angle. Lol, she said he is sitting like frog though with knees on each side of me, v. squashed :D

The reason i ask about the internals (ADVANCE WARNING maybe TMI) but as i have had the plug come away over a few days last week i asked hubbie to check my cervix - he did and said it was quite open (which surprised me) and he could feel babies head, and i know he did as as soon as he touched the cervix area baby started squirming like crazy. Hubby said there was nothing between his hand and babies head - just possibly the lining of the sac which he couldn't even feel :eek::eek: Hubby was a little freaked out by it at first (not surprised, i would have been too - i was surprised he even agreed to check) but that means 'doing the deed' is off the cards now as he's adament he really will poke the baby, haha - so i will have to resort to all the other eviction methods soon! :rotfl:
