Hi Everyone,
Having a poorly day today
have felt hungover since yesterday and nearly fainted on the bus today - scary. not sure if its due to bubs or labrynthsitis (can't spell it) which has been going round my work recently. I'm now 18 weeks and wishing the time is going to fly by as I can't wait to have another little one in the house.
Have been using all my vouchers to collect nappies and have bought one little outfit (the hungry caterpillar sleepsuit) not too fond of the neutral clothes going about just now. did a major clearout of the cellar at the weekend and found an obscene amount of clothes that we had for DS2, going to put most of them on ebay but have kept some of the neutral bits for this one, although it feels a bit strange as I'm a bit like but thats Leo's clothes.
Think we have picked a travel system we want, exactly the same as the last time although the price has went up, the design is not as nice and you get less for your money - really should've kept the last one!!
Also ordered an angelsounds doppler at the weekend so looking forward to getting that soon, think it will help my boys to bond with the bump as they are always at school / nursery when i have appointments.
Sending hugs to all that need, hope things are progressing nicely Choccy xx
Oh and if any newbies / oldies lol want to add me on facebook I'm Steph George profile pic is me and two sons one is a proper red head xx29 year old SAHM to two boys 13 & 5 and a little pink princess >1Wins: £500 for my sons school + goody bag / Cushelle Koala / can of Spam / Crunchy nut mug / £250!! / Blu-ray Home cinema system / mascara / nail varnish / Disney Jnr cinema ticks / Turbo Tango / £10 Asda Voucher0 -
Have accepted you CAFC
Pug (Gordon???) is mega cute!!! I want him!!! As for the dog hair, use a dust pan brush (it's hard work i must warn but effective) on hands and knees and brush it round on the carpet in circles, picks it all up nicely and you don't spend ages hovering the same bit! I have the most hairy dog in the world so i know what you mean about the fight against dog hair....drives me nuts!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Oh CT, big hugs to you! I have no idea what that is that you wrote but anything on top of pregancy makes you feel extra poo. I hope you feel better asap.
I was same with DD's baby clothes, took me until now to Ebay them (she's almost 4)....felt really sad getting rid of them too but made a few hundred pounds from the bundles in the end so not all bad at all. So might prove worthwile in the end!
Can't find you on FBBut if you like you can click on the linky for the piccie that noone seems to be able to view and add me from there if you fancy? x

Its an inner ear thing that makes you feel drunk and dizzy (in a bad way), I always kept his clothes for another baba but it doesn't feel right now, the plan was to list them yesterday for the free listing but their was so much i didn't even get started, my lil one is 4 too

Yes he's got a face that gets him out of every ounce of trouble he finds himself in! :rotfl:
So far Ive been doing the main hoover and just going slowly with it, and then i get the hose bit off and scrap up the really stuck in hairs from where he habitually lays.... I think leaving fewer days between hoovering is helping (although time consuming and knackering!)... so tomorrow will be the other living room again, and should help keep on top of it. With weather changes as well he's been losing a lot more hair which in theory should calm down soon...
Im getting conscious that im losing my appetite quite a bit, not sure if its coz im doing much less, and so need less energy but i just dont want to eat. Am mega thirsty though.... and still addicted to frijj milkshakes but they are expensive so have to ration!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
cafc have you tried hoovering the dog as well i used to do it to my german shep he loved it i think it kind of massages them and you find they leave a lot less hair around :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Ooer - sounds horid. Hope you get over that quickly Tink! Your boy is adorable, i love his red hair, you really can't miss him! Lol, my big bro is a proper redhead too.
CAFC - I can see why - he is too cute! Yeah you'll prob find switching off any central heating helps too...i have to with my mutley. We have a 3 floor skinny house so can't for the life of me carry the blimmin hoover up and down since being preg...hence realising the dustbrush worked well if not better (our doggie is a spitz (think white husky like) so has really super long but clingy hairs that are hard to pick up)
I think all the being on hands and knees as put bubs in a good position too...after all your usually told to scrub the floors to get bubs a moving once your due date hits. I want this baby out now too! I seriously can't put up with this for another 2 weeks
Your prob running out of space for food with the way bubs is growing - i think i am as i can't eat a full dinner any more. I feel full up about half way through so having to eat little and often. Milkshakes are my thing too, i LOOOOOVE the chocolate SoGood milk at the mo- i can drink a 1L carton in one go easilyMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Nearly wet myself laughing with that....
If I could post up a video of what happens with Gordon when the hoover comes out you'd probably wet yourself too......:rotfl:
I dont think he was impressed that I sucked up one of his biscuits in it yesterday (well he should have eaten it!), and its a bagless vacuum so he can see it going round and round and roundIm such a cruel mummy to him
am really tempted to walk round to chippy for a portion just to have had something to eat....theres not much in the house nor much i want to actually eat, but i know i need to eat something......but can i be bothered?!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I think I'm the only one not on Facebook ! So cant see any piccies sorry
Thank you for the birthday wishes, its not been an eventful day, boring really.
MGEB - Where I live they dont even give you an internal anymore when in labour due to risk of infection so you never know how much dilated you are.
Re DIY sweeps are really not as bad as they sound, its amazing ..tmi here...how far up you can get if you have little hands like my OH. Your actually cms away from the babies head.
If anyone has their waters broke be prepared for the baby to have scratches on their head, no one tells you this and i found it upsetting.0 -
