We got the blue/mocha one for £100 (incl £75 P&P from Ireland) so very very happy, included car seat/carry cot, pram foot muffs and rain covers. Got my cot from the same couple and that's also in mint condition and with our brand new matress and bedding looks the part.

thats a good idea KitKat...... I can see myself holing up indoors for a month for ours just because we've got so much.....
according to my mum when the poo/sick/wee is from your own kid you dont care so much..... i did tell her that if he pees in my face im pretty sure i'll differ from that opinion!
I'm the type of person who will probably try to stay in for the first couple of months as I've got some confidence issues, but I think if I buy few nappies/ etc I will need to get out and it will build my confidence as I am a bit nervous about going out with a baby. I like the idea of taking the baby out for long walks in the pram though!
Xmas: thanks for your tips re: changing nappies, I've never done this before so tips like this really help!0 -
im the same KitKat, Im nervous about trying to manhandle a pushchair in shops etc so like you it'd be good to need to pop out for something, its like the extra push to actually go out.....
P.S Will have your voucher in the post tomorrow for you x
Managed to hoover our living room in the never ending battle against Pug hair.... drives me insane, spent most of my time on my hands and knees with the sucker getting individual hairs as the actual attachment seems to only get the freshly fallen ones...
Can see Im gonna have to do it every other day to stay on top of it.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC, have you seen those 'peepee teepees' you can buy? They're possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, you have to check them out for a laugh! You do have to watch little boys though, cos their willy spins around spraying pee everywhere if you don't cover em up like Xmas says.
Hello newbies, and congratulations Babygirl on Maisie!
Well, we were there and back from Ikea in about 4 1/2 hours, which given that it's almost 70 miles each way, is pretty good. Bubs now has (to be made up), cot, wardrobe, drawers and a cuddly elephant. I can get bedding and stuff here, so didn't bother getting any there. If anyone wants the 'Leksvik' range though, get it while you can, because apparently it's being discontinued.

The buggy part is navy blue, and the carseat as well (£160 from ebay :money:) and the carrycot is 'ebory' which is sort of greyish with a white or orange (reversible) apron. Not very girly but we bought it before the 20 week scan. hey ho!
We're very pleased with it all in all. The last buggy I had with my twins was the original urban detour twin, and I loved the height and manouverability and solidity (although it was blimmin huuge) of it all after the buggies I had before which all broke. I did walk miles though!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Welcome GG.
Congrats Babygirl :j (am v jealous tho)
Well,it has just hit me.............I'm having my baby tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been waiting so long the reality has just hit me lol,
Need to get dinner sorted will check in again later xxxBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -
CAFC, it's the one closest to Leeds - hence it being a 'special occasion' going there. We also got the seat pads for OHs skinny bum
I have no idea when we're going to build all this stuff, but I'm just glad we've got it in the house now.
Choccy, it's a pity you're overdue, but it must've been so nice to see your girls perform in their show. Best of luck for tomorrow - if baby doesn't decide it's going to appear before then!
