Hi everyone - not been on as had a very bad week. Last Sunday I posted abut being ill with D&V and stomach cramps ....shortly after midnight I was taken in to hospital on NHS direct advice where they thought I was losing the baby as the stomach pains were sheer hell.
Turns out it was acute appendicitis :eek: thankfully baby seems ok as there was a small chance of losing the baby during/following surgery so its not been a nice time.

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd say hi and introduce myself.

Due on 26th October, have PCOS and never thought it would happen for me at all or at least not without IVF or fertility treatment but it happened more or less straight away! So excited to be a first time mummy, e find out if it's a boy or girl on the 9th June. xx

Ethelsmum - holy carp :eek: glad to hear you're on the mend. It must've been scary for you.

Hi Clairesolo - that's excellent that you didn't need any kind of intervention to get your bubba.

Bubs is busy bustin a move in my tummy. I'm sure this sprog thinks it's a dancer, it feels like it's all over the place. Makes me giggle - well tummy watching is better than telly at the moment.

LOL Bexta. I'm currently watching mine have hiccups under my tattoo..... its so freaky, yet so funny....

Our dog is mesmerised when he sees my belly really go mental. he just stares at it perfectly still

Hi SuzyWuzy, Nope, not in labour I'm still here! I think you and Xmas were right I deffo halted things by having a hot bath I didn't really think at the time it was just because I'd had (sorry for TMI) a bit of a runny tummy (another sign of labour I'd halted :mad:) and wanted to feel all nice and clean again
Really wanted to go out walking today but it has rained literally ALL day. So only been Tesco after dropping DD at her dance show. I then had a long nap this avo and when I woke and went to the loo I'd had a massive show (had some yesterday but only a little) nothing happening at the mo so don't know if anything will start or if I'll be going in on mon.
Have been kinda relaxed as I've now been looking forward to seeing girls in their show tomorrow lunchtime.....who's betting that won't happen now!:rotfl:

Choccy is your husband squeemish? If not get him to do a sweep for you to kick it off again ( you can get instructions off google). Reading your post you will probably want to wait until after the girls Performance before trying it. I Went into labour 24hrs after my show with the first two never had a definate show with the last one or at least i didnt notice if i did

CAFC, that's funny about Gordon watching your tummy. My friendly cat looks bemused when it lies on my belly and gets booted by bubs.

Right, got my list of things to get from Ikea tomorrow (condition of going ), and now OH has decided we should get chair pads of all things, cos he only has a little bum and doesn't like sitting on our dining chairs.
