Sorry Hazzie you'll be the giver! Always the way isn't it???:p It's the prostaglandins in his sperm that helps soften the cervix. Any contact with his boys should help but swallowing the prostaglandins is better as they absorb faster through the stomach than anywhere else:) HTH and I really hope you're not a spitter;):)

Bufger, there's one to commit to memory for when the time is right;):rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry to hear that CAFC wish I could advise something, I know OHs cousin felt too tired to do anything in her last 8-6 weeks of being pregnant. I'm bit worried about money ATM as I'm still unsure whether OH will have a job in 2 weeks and he doesn't seem bothered, think he reckons if he is unemployed I'll take 2 weeks maternity leave and return to work while he stays at home, I don't think so!
Hope you feel better soon CAFC and I'm sorry I'm not any help *hugs*

Thanks ladies for the feedback - tbh I dont know why he argues with me, he knows I always win :p

Can the nice lady who does the list add me for the 17th November - team yellow all the way :D

    Chocky: good luck

ETA: Forgot to say (baby brain), I work in payroll so any SMP, SSP or MA questions give me a holler :D

Hi I think its great you want to do this and would say as long as you felt you had the energy then its an ace thing to do! After all were supposed to stay fit during pregnancy and as long as your hydrated and walk it then it can only be good for you really!

Im claiming MA so may have some questions for you ha! thanks for offering help!!

CAFC- I know what you mean its just getting to the end and being at home it can get on top of you especially with having other worries as well. i was the same first time round when i went on mat leave at 29 weeks, OH at work all the time so i was bored Sh!tless and was really mopey! It will go fast though and you will soon have bubs to make you all smiley!
My OH is the same he will sit there on the computer for hours and although there might not be much else to do it really irritates me!

Were having a few money issues as well with is poo! Just in the middle of trying to sort out my claim for MA and surestart grant, got EVERYTHING to buy for baby cos most stuff from DS needed replacing and still having got my tax credits renewal through which is annoying me so much as there should be a significant increase now due to my income no longer being counted this tax year as i dont work anymore, just hope it come through soon!!

hope everyone is ok and good luck Choccy!!

Olipops - My best suggestion is to get onto freecycle for baby stuff hun. I know it would be great if we could all buy brand new from Babies R Us etc, but at the end of the day, long as its clean and safe, it doesnt really matter.

I get about 20 emails a day from Freecycle, and I can say probably 40% of it is baby stuff. There are travel systems, cots, moses baskets, bedding, clothes etc, and you can always post up a wanted ad as well.

My mum got most of our stuff through freecycle, ebay, car boots and charity shops.

We got our letter regarding housing benefit and neither of us can work out how we only qualify for £22 a week! It doesnt really help us a great deal although better than nothing. Desperate to hear about my MA though and when thats going to start paying out....that will ease things a bit....

    Hello ladies :hello:

Baby has been really active the last day or two, getting kicked all the time :T

I second freecycle etc. We've been given a high chair, cot bedding, and another lady who I met only last week has said she's crying out for space in her house and has a baby bath and all sorts and just to pop round and get it whenever.

In fact everything we've got is second hand and it doesn't bother me at all, as someone said as long as it's clean (and you can always clean it again if you feel really paranoid :rotfl:)

Eta: Oooh this new look is great :D

Oh I like this new look forum!

Ur lucky CAFC with ur freecycle, my local one just has 'wanted' posts and nothing has been offered in weeks! I think it's a great idea, I will defo post some of my old baby stuff when bubs outgrows it, it's nice to help someone like my parents/ mates have helped me!

Olipops: bootsales are great for bargains! I've bought some beautiful babies clothes for about 20p per outfit!
