Grrrrrrr I hate my washing machine,it`s ruined 4 baby cardi`s and 12 muslins are looking very shriveled.I only put it on a slow spin too,daren`t wash anything else in it.

I really should pack my bag this weekend,but that will mean I can`t slob out in my pj bottoms all day.

Agutka your little baby is gorgeous,he has a proper boys face.

I`ve got 4 weeks and a few days to go but could really do with getting her out next week.I`m absolutely huge,I waddle like a duck and breathe like a 90 year old asthmatic.Not sure how much longer I can cope,I`m still waiting for that *blooming* look,I just look like I`m on my last legs.

I had a bit of the nipple twiddling last night although it was more like how far could OH twist and flick them before it brought tears to my eyes.He was a bit drunk and I was hoping it might lead to a bit of nookie but sadly not.

Just remembered I heard that oral nookie can start things off,now would it be me recieving or would I be the giver? I`m sooooooo hoping it`s me although knowing my luck it will be him and if so I shall not mention it.

Sorry Hazzie you'll be the giver! Always the way isn't it???:p It's the prostaglandins in his sperm that helps soften the cervix. Any contact with his boys should help but swallowing the prostaglandins is better as they absorb faster through the stomach than anywhere else:) HTH and I really hope you're not a spitter;):)

.... the advice given to me was that I should try nipple stimulation (I find it disturbs my tv watching in the evenings!!!), sex as the sperm does the above, if this is too painful due to SPD, stimulation given to me using a little oil to give you the big 'O' which in turn will stimulate contractions....

It was also mentioned reflexology, but I think in the end if you're not ready and ripe to go you're not ready... unfortunately :0(

But it's quite a giggle trying... she says whilst gobbling another pineapple....

ive got my appointment for a growth scan its next thursday, ds bday he will be 8:eek: i seen somebody is being induced that day but cant remember who sorry

This could be a long shot but maybe someone knows?

I want to get the SMA milk bottles that are ready to go made up in the individual bottles for when I'm in hospital as my local hospital doesn't supply milk. Going to order from boots as my asda store doesn't have them in but I wondered what kind of shelf life they have? I don't want to get them too early and find they can't be stored for very long, anyone know by any chance?

Well - I GOT MY SWEEP!! Yay
MW said I am dilated(didn't say how much) cervix is completely effaced..and VERY soft! She said that the sweep would def work as I am on the verge of dropping anyway lol. She had to get me an induction appt though just incase but told woman on phone to squeeze my name down cos I wouldn't make it past weekend anyway so wouldn't need appt anyway, She's done it for monday cos my bp was slightly raised 126/90 (it's never been over 76 before) so at most I have 3 days :j Oh and head IS fully engaged;)

Now I'm papping it:rotfl:

Something not so great though is she reckons (only by sight) that I have a slight vaginal prolapse:( I'm only 30 :eek: She's going to refer me to a physio, great!

OOH choccy doesnt sound like you will have much longer to wait then how exciting :-)

I have heard prolapses are common with childbirth the things ive watched on tv though make them seem really easy to fix even if it can sometimes involve a little operation try not to worry to much.

YMakes i would think as long as they are not opened that they would have the same shelf life as the cartons which is around 12 months as its the same milk you may be better actually going into the shop though and picking out the box with the longest date on it :-)
