This week sees the beginning of operation bedroom decor.. I WILL have it done before baby arrives!!! and yes it is likely to kill me!! The hipg will be used for carpet in here.. making the room nice and warm for baby is more important than me buying a shedloads of veg and fruit that'll last 5 minutes! I'm buying guttering with it too lol.
The hall/stairs/landing looks so much better and it is such a motivator seeing the rooms change from a sh!thole to a lovely functional room..
baby stuff is being washed first weekend in June when the children are at their dads.. save them wiping their noses on it all lol
Is it just me on a crazy decorating/decluttering/empty the house manic mode?
Nope... it's not just you;)
3 bits of wallpaper up this morning. You may think "only 3???" but we live in an old wonky house where it's not simple to do any decorating task:mad: + I have a husband who is a perfectionist and gets stressed *big sigh*:rotfl:Thank goodness for my logical mind... a bit of wallpaper was just not happening so clever old me thought of the great idea of working from bottom to top and it worked!!:D:D:D
What I don't understand is WHY ON EARTH DIDN'T WE DO DECORATING BEFORE BEING PREGNANT???:rotfl:
Michelle... glad I saved you some money;):DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
We're on a sorting through the house and doing all the sodding washing mode
I was just on the parents thread saying that I had a clear out of clothes in the kid's rooms and was amazed at how much dirty stuff they had shoved back into their wardrobe and drawers  and now there is a huge washing mountain both to be washed/dried and put away.
Their wardrobe now has a big lock on it so they can't open it and trash all their school uniform(it's only a small wardrobe, the rest of their clothes are in drawers) and DD1's fridge raiding remnants all over the place in her room. I expect we will be at this all day *sigh*
I'll be glad when we've actually found the floors to do carpets and decorating!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I didn't have thw motivation to do it before being pregnant and for the first 4 months I was asleep!!
Mine gave up on the wallpaper so I did it.. he gets far too stressed with my newly plastered wonky walls lol.. I worked mine bottom to top too as it went up so much better which was strange!
I am trying not to do the girls room straight after mine but I am sorely temped!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I've been de-cluttering this weekend. Free cycled 6 recycling bags of random things from around the house, and tidied/ sorted bedrooms and cupboards. I've sorted out the babies stuff now, will need to wait for a sunny day to wash/ dry it all then just put it in drawers.
Hmmmm, still got loads to do though.0 -
awwwww all my boys are asleep....
baby in womb - sleeping/down time
husband on sofa next to make taking up 80% of room - sleeping/ nap time
fat pug with his head under coffee table snoring - quite clearly sleeping....
me - heartburn and desperately writing up a list of things to clean LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Sounds like you lot have been busy! I've been tidying too, although at work rather than at home. I also threw 3 grotty little kids out the shop, and now I'm relaxing with a cuppa and some biccies.
Delain, how do the sensor monitors work? I mean if bubs is totally crashed out deep sleeping, would that count as not moving? I think I might be freaking out too much if that was the case, or is it different? Sorry for the questions, just not sure which one we're going to go for, cos I don't want the dopey cats thinking bubs bed is for them so will need to be shutting doors.

Same here with the cats, although one of them is stuck in a cage for a long while owing to her car accident
They register when bubs is breathing according to the instructions in the box of this one! I never had any of these before, because the living room and bedroom were right next door to each other when mine were small.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
