Hi Kitkat, can you check if the bedding and cot offer is online and post a link as were ordering our stuff tonight! No time to go to shops as were moving house! AND... (cheeky, I know) what's this about 20-30% off?!!! Can anyone guide me in the direction of this lovely discount?!

This is the cotbed and bedding link (hope it works) and we just put it together, the cot is very sturdy and looks really good, we went for the natural wood one. it does look massive! the bedding is nice too! we also hada voucher for £10 off which is in the babies r us catalogue (unsure if this works online!) the cot has one drop side which is very easy to do one handed, 3 different heights and was so easy to assemble, took literally 5 mins!! The mattress is only basic, but the lady who served me told me if i want i can return just the mattress and get a better one just paying the difference and still getting the cotbed and other bits of the same price, not a bad idea!
Anyone recommend getting a better mattress? i have no idea what a baby would need??!!0 -

Oooh Choccy seems to be clearing up here in MK! Hope the rain holds off I'm getting cabin fever
It's so frustrating being overdue isn't it, I'm hoping I don't go as far over this time as I did with DD.
I have no plans today, but really want to get out and about so hoping it does stay dry!0 -
Hello :hello:
How are all the lovely ladies?
Overcast here too but really windy so I put washing out on the off chance that it will get dry before it rains and not end up in next door's garden :rotfl:
Think this baby runs on OH's schedule, she seems to be awake and thrashing around in there at 5am and 11pm at night and quite quiet in between! Luckily for me OH is good with babies and gets up really early, I'm not a 5am personMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hope everyone is ok today? I feel so tired my stupid sister phoned here 7am and woke me up!?
Doesnt she know what a terrible idea it is to wake a very tired pregnant lady?! Poor OH is working today so I think I'll pop to my parents for a nice roastI think smartie was asking about changing bags a few pages back, do u know what ur getting yet? I got the boots bag but I seemed to have to sign up about 6 times before it worked, the bag is vbig and not bad, altho I am having a new shoulder bag for my birthday this week and have gone for a slightly larger bag so I can fit nappies, wipes and maybe a babygrow in it
some of these 'proper' changing bags are v expensive!

Im still waiting on my welcome pack from both Boots and Tesco, to get the vouchers they seem to take ages! signed up for Sainsbury at the same time and got that ages ago.
Just been looking at furniture sets for the nursery, in spaer room at moment, we just have bed, bookshelf etc, so think we need to get cotbed, wardrobe and dresser, but they all seem so expensive. might wait till i get my hipg and use that.:j0 -
This week sees the beginning of operation bedroom decor.. I WILL have it done before baby arrives!!! and yes it is likely to kill me!! The hipg will be used for carpet in here.. making the room nice and warm for baby is more important than me buying a shedloads of veg and fruit that'll last 5 minutes! I'm buying guttering with it too lol.
The hall/stairs/landing looks so much better and it is such a motivator seeing the rooms change from a sh!thole to a lovely functional room..
baby stuff is being washed first weekend in June when the children are at their dads.. save them wiping their noses on it all lol
Is it just me on a crazy decorating/decluttering/empty the house manic mode?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
