CHANGING BAGS help please!!! I have no idea what to get it and didn't really think about one until I had a sudden thought last night that I would need one!:rotfl:I don't want to spend a fortune and don't care if it's not a "proper" changing bag.
It doesn't look like I'll ever get the voucher for the free Boots changing bag as Boots never ever seem to send me anything even though I've actually phoned in the past to check I'm on the mailing list!

I'm going the other way this time. With my other two, I just had a bog standard change bag - one free with the pushchair and then I 'splashed out' on a bag from Mothercare whose strap broke within a month.....this time I have my eye on a Stork Sak one for £85. I really actually want a lin and leo one, but can't bring myself to part with that much cash (but they are beautiful and look really classy and would go with any outfit.....:D)

By the way, I have decided to fully graduate to this board now because we saw baby at the scan yesterday and all is well....13+4 now and doing good :T
It is waaaay too long though to catch up with everyone's stories and stages - I guess that'll come.....

    we're debt freeeeeeeeeeeee....FREEEEDOM!!! :j

Hello all, Courgette, you don't sound like a tightwad! Like you say, it's money you've earned, so you should have it. It's sensible to want to gather as many ££££ as you can. Don't overdo it though, cos that wouldn'tbe sensible!

Smartie, I got my Boots bag not long since, and it does seem quite huge. I think some mums go a bit ott with what they cart about 'just in case', I'd say Pigpen's advice makes most sense for when they're tiddlers. It's when they get bigger and want entertaining you probably start lugging more about just to keep them quiet!

I never did.. I added a beaker for juice to the bag and that was it.. we would talk while on the move and look at the things we went by and sing silly songs.. and learn to rhyme.. oh, I added snacks if we would be more than 3-4 hours too.

I can quite honestly say I have never taken toys in a changing bag.

My bag got smaller and smaller the more children I had and as I realised you don't need all the crap people tell you that you do! I could probably manage with a crisp packet for this one lol

I used THIS BAG with the last 2.. but mine is purple

Pigpen, true, I don't remember my mum taking much for us lot. She mostly had her hands full anyway with my brother who was hyperactive and used to escape a lot.

For those considering disposable nappies - huggies in particular

    http://www.boots.com/en/Huggies-Newborn-Changetime-box_861757/
    reduced from £10.99 to £7.33

    Gosh I love a bargain :j

In ASDA this box is £3 and if you have a coupon from Emma's Diary, it makes the box 50p :j

    oh for goodness sake!

I text DH an hour and half ago, asking if he wanted pizza because i dont want spag bol....
And I didnt know what he wanted/would want etc so I just ordered for me.... and of course as soon as Ive ordered he texts me back telling me he does.

So I've had to tell him he took too long texting me back, and im so hungry. He literally text me 5 minutes ago and i ordered maybe 10 minutes ago. Always the way....

Anyway he's just said hes annoyed now..... and I should have ordered for him!

Maybe he's right and I should have, but exactly how am I meant to know exactly what hes going to want....????
