    Hello Girls,

I posted this on the less than 12 weeks board but thought I would post on here for any reassurance anyone could offer.

I posted just before Xmas that I was getting AF cramps after getting my longed for BFP after trying for 18 months+. Sadly, despite being told this was quite common it was not meant to be and I had an awful Xmas/NewYear.
We have been trying since and I tested twice on 2 different tests yesterday 3 days before AF is due and I had 2 faint positives. I tested again this morning and again a faint positive (no darker than yesterdays) and also tested on an OPK (silly I know but I had no HPTs left and I know you can sometimes use these.) and this was also positive. I would be very happy with this except for the fact that I have the same AF cramps that I have every month and the same that I had in December so I am scared that the same thing is going to happen again.

Just wondered if anyone could offer any reassurance or anything I can do/take to help?

    Thanks

Could just be implantation hun. I had AF symptoms before my BFP, hence why I didnt really take it seriously with my tests. I used an OPK as well first of all as I didnt want to waste money on a pregnancy test.

All you can do is rest and take it easy. Unfortunateliy with m/c, if its going to happen, its going to happen, and I know how hard it is to deal with....
best wishes though and keep us updated xx

I had absolutely loads of cramping when I first found out I was pg, and I think this is really common too. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know

Hi all hope ur ok. Jus got back from shoppin with OH our first baby shop together :) went to mothercare and bought some lovely 'please look after me bear' bedding, was quite expensive. Also bought a really sweet seasame street sleepsuit/ baby grow/ bib set that OH really liked. He decided the bedding looked too nice for our tatty free cot so we looked at new cot beds. We bought one from toys r us that was on offer for £189 with full bedding set, cuddle robes, mattress and changing matt. So all in we spent a fortune but gotsome lovely items! We hav saved lots on everything else so I feel less guilty spending so much, plus it was the nicest thing choosing with OH :D

It is gorgeous!!! We bought the bed in a bag which unfort wasn't on the offer, but I fell in love with it and it seemed such good quality, I am sure it will last well. I got some other bits in the range that were on the offer, 30% off did make a difference! The bedding from toys r us is nice but not quite as good as the 'please look after' range but I am pleased to have 2 sets :)

Sob, Pigpen and Kitkat, I'm very jealous of you organised ladies. Kitkat, that's very sweet of your OH, gonna have to look up that Sesame Street stuff, it sounds cute.

OH is dragging his feet about going furniture shopping for bubs, this is where I seriously wish I hadn't let my Australian driving licence expire, otherwise I would have a UK one by now and could go by myself. We've got 10 weeks tomorrow to get our act together  trouble is, all the good shops are 40-70 miles away, and I don't want to buy furniture online, cos I want to be able to see it.

In ASDA this box is £3 and if you have a coupon from Emma's Diary, it makes the box 50p :j

The asda box only contains 1 pack of nappies & wipes & 1 pair of socks, worth 50p but not quite the same as the Boots box
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

I will only have the one set of bedding.. I can get it washed and dried in one day should I need to and have plenty of blankets, sleeping bags etc as well so all is good.. I have ordered the bath too.. I hate baby baths but OH really wanted it and I kept saying no.. but seeing as it was reduced I thought I'd treat him. I got the nappy stacker to clear space in a drawer for cardigans etc.. I did use a nappy stacker with the others so I'm sur eit will be used. I ordered a set of the sheets as well.. because I wanted them. I got the bibs in my last mothercare order when I ordered something for baby to wear for OHs sisters wedding in September and a jacket. My sister is loaning us her swinging crib so I will order the crib bale next week.. hers is winnie the pooh and I hate winnie the pooh!!!

I had a newborn box which had a trial pack of swim nappy, 2 packs newborn nappies, packet of wipes and a pocket pack of tissues, which cost £5.....
I think it came from wilkinson....

Just given away my first item on freecycle, very impressed with myself..... one less piece of something in our house.

And last load of baby laundry done (new bits my parents bought up on their visit). And then I've got to organise the wardrobe into the sizes....

Now Im just off to mooch on ebay xx
