Delain sorry to hear you are still having problems, i hope they work out whats going on soon! Hopeful there will be a simple explanation like MLSL said. I fancy getting a netbook as i will probably have to stay in hospital for a week or so after baby gets here so want to be able to get on line. Or maybe an iphone if i can talk hubby into it.

Poor SirM hope she is ok

Hubby and his uncle have been attempting to put the curtain pole up and a new door on in babys room today (the door has been sat in the dinning room since december and the curtain rail was bought 2 months ago)... after 7 hours work, endless cups of tea and coffee and rounds of sandwiches i have a curtain pole that is too short but on the wall, and a door that is up but with no handle - and there is no talk of when it will be finished. Im suprised im remaining so calm. Wardrobe and chest of draws arrive for the room tomorrow - goodness knows if they will be done by the time baby is born:(

Id do them myself if i could but can hardly walk !!!

Thanks for that lilac, just wanted to check i wasnt being weird.

Been painting the bathroom today. DH has been glossing the front room and bath room. I honestly dont think it been done in 10 years, looks much better now. I now have to scour the web to find a theme for the nursery so we can crack on with turning it into a nursery from the dumping room.
Im having a much deserved small glass of rose and a sit down :D:j

I'm all done, larger sizes going back up in the loft. There is this really cute blue sleepsuit that says worth the wait on it which is so true with this baby but its a short one for summer, damn my boys being born in different seasons. Turns out I need a few bits up to about a year then I should be able to make do with what we have.

Awwww i went through all my baby clothes yesterday, at my scan they think we are team blue so i now have a big massive box of baby girl clothes to offload as soon as one of my buddies needs them lol, i did salvage all the neutral things though lol:T

  • Gems I can recommend the iPod touch if your hospital has Internet access.

Merfe very mse with the clothes, it is ridiclous how much they cost and how little wear they get out of them. I pass mine to my sister in law for her 3 year old boy and she gives all her older boys stuff (aged 8) to me for my 6 year old, it's a great way to recycle as well. She's also gave me all her 3 year olds stuff for the baby if it's a boy if not I'll eBay them, I doubt I'll need clothes for the first year and all the other stuff I have got second hand ( big bootsale fan, got a mamas and papas cot bed divet and bumper with cellular blanket today for £2 !!!, one mans junk is another mans treasure )
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

Thanks for labour vibes and tips on eviction! My and OH just had a takeaway curry it was heavenly! We norm go for Chinese/ chippie or Maccy Ds so it was a lovely change!

Rach: my OH really wants Red Dead Redemption, I did wana buy him it as when he isn't playing on the PS3 he has been a star to me, rubbing my back, making me cups of tea and giving baby a 'talking to' lol. But I don't want him playing on the PS more than he bothers with the baby!

Thanks for keeping us informed of Sir M, hope she's feeling better soon. Think your hosp bag list seems fine! About same as mine.

MLSL I agree with iPod touch to take into hosp, I can't imagine not having mine! It's like a pocket laptop! OH has an iPhone but I think the iPod is much better value and only missing a phone!

I looked through all my baby clothes today, I've bought 6 new items, all the rest has been charity shop/ boot sale/ eBay bundles and few bits bought for us as presents, there's loads there been as I've barely spent any money on it all :)

    I'd love an Iphone/Ipod touch :o

Netbook was cheaper though and I let the kids use it for moshi monsters and for the twins to go 'shopping' on the clarks shoes page. They had a £185 basket earlier!
