Cheers krystal i will go take a look hopefully they will do until he is toddling around he goes barefoot at home but obviously needs something on when we are out and about.

Rach all my pain is in my groin and its excrutiating its like there is just nothing there supporting my bones anymore and i think i have pulled the muscles as well because of the extra strain.

I had DS1 at 35wks smartie they did take him down to special care as he had hiccups when he was born but once down there the nurses couldnt understand why they sent him there as he was fine doctor was just being stupidly cautious but then i suppose thats better than them missing something.

I give up trying to get this madam out i am really starting to think she is going to go overdue just to be awkward (she is just like her mom lol). Party went ok yesterday but i got a bit bored as couldnt join in the games as i wasnt allowed and it kept P'ing down so was stuck in the gazeebo on my own for ages with bubs asleep. There was a young woman there who kept asking about my pregnancy i found out later that she had just miscarried wish i had known, here was me winging about this pregnancy she probably thought i was right ungrateful cow.

  • good morning/afternoon!

    congrats yummymummy!!

aw rach hope you feel better today! just read your hosp bag list and it sounds like your sorted!

seriously what is up with the sizes in some shops? i got a pack of the granny knickers out of primark aswell, but going to have to buy another pack as the ones i got are far too small looking! im a size 12 so i bought a pack of 16/18 and they are tiny looking and not big enough to be comfy!

xmas i did that last week aswell. was sitting with my friends little sis and her friend. they were asking all about the pregnancy and all i did was moan and say how horrible it was, my friends lil sisters friend had literally just had a miscarraige but i didnt know. i felt like a right tool. argh even remembering it is making me go red!

its so lovely today but i dnt have the energy to take adavantage and go out and enjoy it!!

DH has asked if I'd get all the bags ready today, he's at work so will need to do it myself. I've got DD's bag to pack to leave at a relatives house incase she's at school when labour starts and I've got my hospital bag to do. How much stuff is advisable to take? I remember taking loads last time and not needing half of it! I only needed one baby outfit for DD going home as the hospital kept providing clean sleepsuits while we were there. Going to a different hospital this time so will take a few sleepsuits with me.

Oh well dream we werent to know and i suppose in a way they would rather hear the truth than a load of old flannel. Having been there you get sick of the sympathy and suger coating and just wish someone would talk to you like a normal human being :-)

Congratulations to Yummy mummy i missed that one sorry :-) xx

  • Hello

Had a lovely weekend away, deluxe room was huge and had a mega sized bed which was nice although spent more time going to loo than anything, went shopping in milton keynes for the day yesterday and husband brought me a necklace and 2 dresses for after baby is born as my birthday present.

xmas and dreambirdie they probably just were wishing they could moan about the same things rather than thinking you ungrateful. They were obviously interested or would have avoided you rather than asking questions. I lost 3 trying for this baby and I never got the jealous of other pregnant women thing, I always loved to hear their good news, gave me more hope. Although after the 3rd I did start to think there was something wrong but now I realise I was just really unlucky, I was meant to be giving my body a break when I fell pregnant and this one stuck so after everything I'm really happy but that doesn't mean I pregnancy well - I do not and can't wait till its over and I've got the baby in my hands.

Delain doesn't sounds good, glad nan is understanding and able to help out.

Smartie I'm sure little one will be fine and the doctors will check. My DD was born at 37 weeks so technically full term and was fine, DS at 38 weeks and he had some shallow breathing for a good couple of hours afterwards, was threatened with SCBU but left on the postnatal ward to see if he improved on his own first and he did luckily. His blood sugars also dropped a bit but only enough to require more monitoring. I was already on the high risk post natal ward so there were loads of really tiny babies there but they didn't need Special care.

    Hi all

Smartie I had ds1 at 36 weeks and he was fine, he had some jaundice which cleared up without too much problem and we came home the same day I had him. He also weighed 6lbs 7 ozs so your little one could be a good weight too.

He arrived 8.30 in the morning and we were home that evening, mainly because it was a really hot summer and the ward was just suffocatingly hot!

Slept better last night but still had to get up out of bed and turn over about three times to stay comfy as well as a couple of toilet breaks. :(

Hugs and labour/stay put vibes to those that need them.

Thanks for happy due date Smartie :)

There's no signs of anything, mind you I've only just woke due to being up all night with this horrid toothache :( my face is swollen and I feel so carp :( there's nothing in the house I can eat so I duno what to do with myself.

Bounced on ball last night for hours, I had odd contractions and it felt like the baby was trying to push itself out (was quite uncomfy) but lead to nothing. I think problem is I can't concentrate with all the pain of my tooth :( bet dentist can't fit me in tomorrow either. Might have to remove the tooth myself :(
