Thanks everyone:) (Knew Pigpen would be about:p) Didn't think about dinky clothes situation! I think he's looking like a biggun though!! DS was 6lb 6 when born at full term so it's going to be strange if this one is that size this early!

Got the health vistor coming tues morning before I go to hospital. It's gonna look good that the child I already have is in plaster!!:rotfl:We've just took him to Macd's as that's what he asked for as he was put to sleep in theatre! Poor thing is pretending he's ok but I heard him have a secret "I'm in pain/uncomfortable sigh" earlier:(

I feel bad about moaning all through this pregnancy as we were TTCing for a long time so should be grateful:o BUT I have had a pretty crap time.

I'm now going to get on all fours and go round with a lemon getting rid of cat puke stains in carpet!!!:o:rotfl:

    (Butting in again sorry)

SM - I had the fetal monitoring with my DD, problem was she was always asleep so there as no movement to click for.

I had it about 4 times in the 24 hours before DD was born - I was being monitored closely as I am Type 2 Diabetic, plus some other issues.

Smartie - I've had a 2 nephews and a niece in plaster recently are you doing the paracetamol/ibruprofen cycle? It really helped them.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    DD3 was 5lb 10 @ 35 weeks. and DD6 :D was 6lb 14.5 at 37 weeks.. so 6.5lb at 36 weeks is to be expected I'd have thought..

I haven't been about.. been way too busy.. here now cos I'm feeding... another reason to breastfeed.. you have a hand spare for internet browsing!!

He's very stubborn about taking pain relief!! His whole right arm is in plaster and he is right handed so I think it's more the heaviness of the plaster that's annoying him.

Got to check that he can unlock and lock the front door in a bit or else we can't really leave him on his own when I go in!!

It's good to see you pop by Pigpen:D

    Right... I MUST go tidy!!:o:rotfl:

  • freebie sounds like you had a lovely time! i would love to have a little weekend away but trying to be good with my money. really looking forward to next year OHs mum has said she will look after bubs so me and OH can go away, although i think he wants to go away for a week, i dont know if il be able to leave baby that long but we'll see.

really looking forward to this friday its my last appointment at the hospital and i think they do the measurements again. although the never really get the weight right do they?

smartie im the same i feel like all i do is moan. i often wonder about the women who say they loved being pregnant. yes it is lovely knowing that a baby is inside you, but at the same time it is one of the most stressfull worrying things you can do. plus all the aches/pains/sickness dont really help! im still waiting for my "pregnancy glow" :rotfl:

think i may go for a nap i am shattered it must be the heat. hope you all have a lovely day

Sorry just noticed: 2girls 'man juice' popsicles! Lol. Don't think I could physically eat it! My OH keeps hinting when he makes me cuppa's he's guna add in 'extras' but I'm sure I couldn't drink it! Lol!

Kitkat I am not sure if they are meant to be eaten or inserted into the foof!! would be worried about frost bite :rotfl::rotfl: Have to say I just chose to go 10 days over instead!!
    DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz

Congratulations Yummymummy:j:T:j:T Will you be posting a birth story?

Hugs to everyone poorly/in pain, there seems to be a lot at the moment.

Labour vibes to all who want them.

Confuzzled - hugs to you, at least they caught both early, and from what you've said they both sound positive and strong which I'm sure will really help. xx

Rach - my airer was full of white baby clothes yesterday too! Today it has blue clothes/blankets, I love it! Ironed the white ones today, the first baby clothes I've ever ironed, even though we've basket of grown-up clothes that have been waiting to be ironed for ages:D

Well I finished work on friday, it felt very strange and still does really, I expected to feel much more relieved/happy than I did. Maybe I don't dislike it as I thought?? OH is working most of the time at the moment too so I have to keep myself busy otherwise I'll get really bored/stuck in a rut. Fortunately his mum is visiting this week (not with us, with his sister) so I'm sure I'll spend time with her/OH's nieces. And my parents aren't very far away. But really I want to do loads in the house, it's about time the nesting kicked in!:D

2girls: I've heard it can inserted or eaten... Don't particularly feel like doing either! Keep getting strong pushing down movements that are v uncomfortable. I sneezed a min ago and it felt like the baby was guna fall out lol!

Watched 16 and pregnant where the couple put their baby up for adoption, I cried all the way through!

Please let this baby be born within a week as I'm booked next Sunday for a sweep and then it'll be induction which I really don't want.

aw rach hope you feel better today! just read your hosp bag list and it sounds like your sorted!

seriously what is up with the sizes in some shops? i got a pack of the granny knickers out of primark aswell, but going to have to buy another pack as the ones i got are far too small looking! im a size 12 so i bought a pack of 16/18 and they are tiny looking and not big enough to be comfy!

xmas i did that last week aswell. was sitting with my friends little sis and her friend. they were asking all about the pregnancy and all i did was moan and say how horrible it was, my friends lil sisters friend had literally just had a miscarraige but i didnt know. i felt like a right tool. argh even remembering it is making me go red!

its so lovely today but i dnt have the energy to take adavantage and go out and enjoy it!!
Same for me dream re moaning, really annoys me when I do it as I have a few friends who have not been able to concieve including one at the moment. However moaning on here means I don't moan to them! Also feel bad moaning about hip pain when sir M, delain etc are much worse off! DH always says I am not v good at being less than 100% - perfectionist in me!

I ended up buying size 20/22 granny primark pants as the others looked too small :eek:

Don't think I'll be ironing ours! Got the iron out today for the first time in about a year, but only to wundaweb some trousers!

Been out for lunch, expensive habit we should get out of soon, then nipped to M&S for some rolls for DH's packed lunches, spent £23 and had to get the bus back. Oops. Need to do some more baby washing but for now have normal washing in!

At least I'm not the only one who had a shock at the size of primark pants! I got mine from QS :p

I'm going to call my GP in the morning instead of waiting for the DVT (?) clinic they were going to ring me about tomorrow becausethe left leg is getting twitchy, and I'm now losing a lot of movement in the other leg, and that side is starting to feel funny too, although in a different way, and I suppose he'll refer me to A&E again. _pale_I will hope my amazon order has arrived by then and I will drag myself in to tesco near the hospital to find reading material if not!

I've got some crutches now, the ones they gave my brother when he dislocated his knee (in 2003, don't tell the hospital :shhh:) and they've helped a bit.

Rach, I find having a good old moan is the best thing, however rivail, it helps me anyway. It's like therapy only free :money:

Smartie: Good luck with everything, and Sympathy for your DS, plaster casts are horrible, Twins never moaned about theirs (I was very surprised!) but you could see they were really struggling :(
