Delain - glad you are out. I had visions of your BP peaking and them thinking you had had a stroke or something. I have a vivid imagination. I have had umpteen MRI's and CT scan with my MS they are fine just noisy, I hope you are not clastraphobic, oh and you can take your own CD and they play it for you thru headphones while the machine is clanging and whirring away. Happy birthday to your DD.

Hello all!
On the edge: don't think me smashing OHs PS3 would go down well, apparently it's some 'collectable import' that he bought before they were out in UK and I imagine irreplaceable as it's so old! I do keep telling him when bubs is here he won't have time!
Sir M: hope hospital goes ok, will be thinking of you.
Rach: wonderful news about your dad giving you deposit, my parents sweetly told me they wish they could afford to help us out but unfort can't. They're so supportive of me in so many other ways so that's all I need!
MLSL: *hugs* I had 2 weeks of twinges and nothing last week, I'm due tomorrow hopefully something will kick off although I doubt it! It's funny as I thought I was having this baby early, nevermind!
Fuzz: *hugs* so sorry to hear about your mum, there's nothing worse. Catching it early is the main thing, stay positive.
Yummymummy: congratulations!
I couldn't get a dentist appt yesttoday my tooth is killing! They told me to ring Monday to see if there's any free appts. Hate taking paracetimal when pregnant
Please can I have lots of labour vibes sent my way.. One day to evict this fat baby!0 -
I know I just never thought he would do that, he knows how upset I was when KH used to act up if I was in hospital and not send me any clean clothes and he only had to go to the sodding car
So I had a choice of exposing myself in a hospital special (they didn't give me a proper made bed only a trolley and lumpy not big enough sheets - they were busy though) or sleeping in my clothes that I'd worn all day yesterday without so much as a clean pair of knickers which just isn't nice when lots of doctors keep wanting you to strip down so they can poke you with needles and ask the same questions (and get the same bl00dy answers!) as the day beforeMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

yummymummy congrats x
kitkat good luck for tomorrow, labour vibes x
Delain it sounds really awful, I hope it improves on its own otherwise its a long time to put up with it till docs can do more tests. Are they completely stumped? It does sound unusual. Hope OH sorts himself out at least so he can help you a bit more. Mine was an !!!! for a while and it really puts a strain on the relationship, luckily he sorted himself out and when he occassionally slips I gently remnd him how him behaving like that makes no one happy.0 -
Delain, hope your ok sounds like you had an awful experience. Really hope they figure out what's wrong, make sure you take it easy.
Merfe: thanks for the labour vibes!0 -
Congrats yummymummy:D
Good to see you Delain! Try to rest as much as you can and I hope you get some answers about whats going on on Mon. In our A&E their "5 mins to sort paperwork" to admit DS to childrens ward took 2 hours!!!
I took the homeopathic rememdy to turn bubs hours ago and OHMIGOD:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: He has been going crazy!!! I'm pretty sure he hasn't turned BUT I've seen all sorts of things sticking out my tummy and it is very painful! Going for a bounce in a mo:)
kitkat... get that baby out by Tues please;) Don't want to go beating you to it!!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

I've been to town, which was hell...don't know why I went to Croydon, I hate it and usually go to Bromley. Kept having to sit down and now I can't actually stand without DH helping me! Restful aft for me I guess! I will instruct him to do some baby washing this aft and get my bag done...bought some deodorant and other bits I need for it.
Hope sir m is getting on ok
delain sounds awful, poor you. Let's just hope it's just a trapped nerve or something. Just rest as much as you can until Monday. xxMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Thanks to everyone, apparently the numb area is too big for a trapped nerve, It's my entire left side up to my bra line. the doc started asking alarming questions about family history of neurological disorders  I racked my brains a bit and panicked about the kids nan having MS then realised she isn't actually related to me
He did say before I left that because I'm only 25 and my sight and hearing was fine he doesn't think there's anything wrong with my brain.
I think it was a CT scan he wanted to do, and another one I forget the name of, I think they wanted to check out my head and back. but couldn't because of the baby. Will just have to see what happens on Monday, no one has mentioned it yet but I suppose if they decide they really need to do these tests they might queue jump me as I'm 37 weeks on wednesday.
I'm hoping and praying this goes away on it's own
thanks for being here, lovely ladies it's nice to have someone to talk to!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Delain I had a similar thing a few years ago, lost the feeling and control in both legs on and off, terrible pins and needles went to neuology did test had everyone stumped. Was also worried as my mum has ms but it turned out to be an allergic reaction to the contraceptive injection, while I know this obviously isn't the case with you just wanted to share how something so simple can cause such a strange reaction - came off the injection and had nothing since. Hth you feel a bit better and good luck
labour vibes for those wanting to evictBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0
