Was in the shower this morning and tried to check my cervix...Couldn't feel anything. Or should i have been laying down to feel it?

I don't think it's going to happen today I woke up early this morning, had a twinge of "I really need sex right now" :rotfl: (as you do), asked OH and he said he had indegestion!! :mad:

people keep saying the same to me about not lasting 7 more weeks too! I think people just like to comment!

The man in the curry house told DH he should not go to work now to stay at home and look after me til the baby's here!! I said, yeah right, he's still making me go out to work!!

I'm not sure re Pre eclampsia Lilac, my sister had the HELLP Syndrome which is what it can turn into, and they are watching her this time but not as closely as I'd like! I think she is so much more aware herself though, as are all the family.

dream - I think I will do the bag this weekend. Will mean doing some baby washing too. Might go to mothercare in canterbury today and see what's around just for fun too! Although it looks like it's an out of town store and we'll be on the train so no good.

honestly! My DH says 'I'm always in the mood'...I bet except the one time I want to jump him!

It actually quite hurt because we haven't had interwhoha for going on 3 weeks now. Other stuff has been done but I need his little men to finish the work that they started!

Morning all

Well I am 30 today - Have had lots of cards and some money/gift cards which is lovely, and some nice chocolates. Husband annoyed as he went to get my present one in shop was broken so he ordered another to arrive yesterday went to get it and it was broken so they have sent another out to our home address - no idea what it is though, hoping it comes today.

My dad and his partner also sent us a gift card for boots for "the baby" for £70!! he said we could use it for ourselves if we had everything for baby which he assumed we had as I am the list lady and to organised. Giftcards last 2yrs so will come in handy for nappies etc anyway.

Husband at work and has taken car so he can get home quicker today and we are off for a weekend away, last weekend away before baby arrives cant believe he will be here in 2wks time.

Smartie - good luck for your sons operation today at least he will get a good fix and will heal well and they have noticed early on as if it had healed without being pinned/plated not alot they could have done other than rebreak and do the same op which isnt nice. I used to work on childrens wards and was a pretty routine operation for teenagers- he will feel pretty grotty afterwards like anyone who has had an op and it can be painful, make sure he has regular painkillers even if no pain its better to keep the pain at bay than wait til in pain and they take time to work.
