HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREEBIE! Hope you have a lovely day!
Smartie: hope your DS is ok. *hugs*
Glad my OH isn't the only one freaked out by 'DTD' lol. We last did it last week but I honestly don't think I could do it again! Feel like a huge heffalump!
Had my MW appt, I'm measuring spot on, bubs has shifted sides and head has further engaged so I'm ready to go! My MW is going away next Friday for 2 months so I hope this baby cones before then as I've got used to the same one now. My headache has finally calmed down and turned into toothache last night. Apparently I've got an abcess and need antibiotics, can't be bothered to phone dentist mightphone doc and see if he'll give me some.
MLSL: I keep getting people asking if I've popped get, it's a PITA, I know I've had twinges but I'm not actually due yet! I HATE people touching my belly! Only OH allowed!0 -
13 hours left of today...Don't think She's going to be a 13th baby
I asked OH how he was feeling when he got to work this morning and if he'd picked up some indegestion tablets.
"Oh i'm fine. The walk did me good. Plus I had a drink which also helped"
The drink would have been a big can of monster which is fizzy which wouldn't have helped at all I'm guessing. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Yes what is it with people thinking it's ok to suddenly start touching your belly?????
I may start going up to fit looking men and having a feel of their bums!:DMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

I'm sure it's been discussed before...so apologies...
Don't know if it's way early (I'm 15+2) but I'm hopefully going to buy some maternity jeans tomorrow. I already bought next size up jeans (size 14 which are baggy around the bum and legs) at about week 6 and have been wearing them since, but even these are getting uncomfy around the waist, although they are quite low cut ones.
Anyway, wondered if anyone had advice on whether to go for over the bump or under the bump. From looking at reviews on Next jeans it seems the over the bump ones are more comfy and popular. The under the bump ones seem to have comments about them falling down...any opinions?
Hi i bought some over the bump cropped jeans from next and they drive me mad as im always having to pull them up as in the crotch area they seem to get baggy, i had this problem when i bought them when i was 14 weeks and still have this problem even through i am bigger now at 32 weeks. I also bought the under bump next jeans and i perfer them, only problem i have with them now is i bought them when i was about 11 weeks and now they are a bit small on me so i have to make sure i wear a long top over them. I bought them at my normal size, but i think would have been better to buy them in the next size up.Married 09/09/090 -
Hi everyone, sending hugs to smartie and little smartie. Happy birthday freebie, hope you have a great day.
We are going down south when dh finishes work today as its a friends 40th birthday tomorrow, we will be staying with Mil, will be nice to see her and will get to see sil and bil and their children, which will be nice. Its horrible weather here, i wish it would stop raining, thats all it seems to do most of the time.Married 09/09/090 -
Thanks ladies. Seems to be a preference thing then. I'll have to try some on...Baby Giz born 6/2/110

I like my next under bump ones! they have the elasticated pull waist like you get in children's clothes!
It's tops I've really struggled with
Bought some size 20 vest tops in tesco (I'd spilt something on mine and these were reduced to £2!) and found that they assume if you're a size 20 your baps are round your knees  you could see my bra pretty much all overshould say they only had 20, an 18 probably would have gone over bump too!
I've spent the last 2 weeks in a couple of mens XL T shirts OH picked up for me!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Antibiotics alone won't cure the problem - they'll only take the symptoms away for a while, and then it will come back - often worse, and possibly more resistant to antibiotics.
One thing is certain, you'll never get toothache at a 'convienient' time.
Dentist, NOW, and get it sorted.
Plus - Drs get really peed off seeing denta;l emergencies, and a lot will, quite rightly, refuse. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
