these people should get nothing. NOTHING.

how come i work but can't afford 2k at xmas or drive two cars.

it is insanity. if idiotic filth like this keep having babies, they should have to live in a 2 bedroom flat and that is it. if they don't stop and it is unsafe, then they get their kids taken away.

this disgusting filth needs to learn a massive lesson. If I ran this country I would take everything from them and leave them with a 2 bedroom flat for which they will be eternally grateful for. They will be given child benefit for the first two kids and no more.

Lets see how many kids they have then. utter dirt.

Slightly over the top don't you think T_W_H?
I understand your frustration but it's the government's fault. These people have simply found a loophole and are exploiting it.

I'm glad your not running the country otherwise there would be a lot of parentless children in the UK....

They have just been clever and used the system to get what they can. Surely the problem is the system that allows this to occur??

If you thought you'd get away with it - would you do the same???? At some point in the past I'd have said no, but I'm not so sure these days!!!!

Just to flip this another way I know a guy from Dorset who was one of thirteen siblings, and my FIL was one of six. Both say it's miserable to come from such a large family as your mum is run ragged and never has enough time for each of the kids. For someone to be popping out babies at this rate because they love kiddies is one thing, but if people in this country really are only doing it to cash in then that is a very sad state of affairs.

Exactly Wymondham.... Its a bit difficult to prevent people working the system when politicians and bankers are themselves - on the take!

I have to say this angers me. I had my further education cut short at 20 years old when they finally diagnosed my illness. That was followed by nearly a year in hospital. At the end of it I was offered my " ticket " for life. I would not have to work as I qualified for long term sickness.

I refused and here I am, over 40 years later, still working. Sometimes it has been very tough and sometimes not a problem. In recent years I have not been too well but I carry on with my little business . I honestly hope I can keep it going for a few more years until retirement. Even then, if well enough, I intend to do something.

It makes my blood boil that these people think they can have all they want. How dare they? My wife works very hard for very little money. If she didn`t the elderly and infirm would be sitting in their own filth or worse.

That stupid woman going on about having more kids. Totally shocking! Many of my wifes clients are on benefits and rightly so. I have zero problems in paying that. Singlesue, whom I have a great deal of respect for, by poor fortune, has to rely on support and is doing a good job of bringing up her kids. Again, i am glad my taxes can help in a little way. However that lot!!!!! Mercedes people carrier. Just who do they think they are?

A couple of years ago Labour brought into law the requirement to end child poverty by 2020.

Which sounds all well and good, until you give the rather more precise meaning that:

A couple of years ago Labour brought into law the requirement that any household containing a child would have an income equivalent to or greater than 60% of average household income.

So, following the methods supported by many in this thread would in fact be a breach of law should future policy makers be so minded.

There are other daft laws too, such as halving the deficit.

Any new Government will take years unpicking these laws just to be allowed to make changes, and that is before you even get tied up in the red-tape of European law.

Agreed, you appear to have totally lost the plot, 1984.

    I have reported your post.

    Shame on you.

    Get a grip.

I expected nothing more from you.

Your random vile attacks appear to be getting more regular.

    Nice person.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    You don't fool me.

& by the way it wasn't just jews that were persecuted by the Nazis'.

It was pretty much anyone who was regarded as a drain on society.

I hope you reported the OP for saying he hoped the children of the scum were starved.

    But no Carolt.[STRIKE] I bet you didn't.[/STRIKE] Sorry, I KNOW you didn't.

Shame on you Carol. Shame on you.

The only way to sort this is to rebalance things.

Cut back the money these people get tremendously, and use that money to take more people out of the 1st tax band by raising the threshold.

    Change the mentality.

Are you a worker? You get subsidised cinema.
Worker? You get cheaper swimming, sports and other recreation.
Worker? Get lower car tax and insurance.

We have to make the lifestyle jobless envy and aspire to be like those in work, whatever their work.

I do accept this will impact genuine hardship cases. There will always be these, and somehow we need to cater and handle these exceptions.

A simple google search will clearly show that the countries with the highest birth rates have no benefits system at all... so withdrawing aid over here and letting people starve (like they would in many African countries) is likely to have the opposite effect.

I notice no-one has mentioned 'education' yet
