and how the F is he ever going to learn anything about money saving if you KEEP bailing him out. That could have been a partial settlement on a d ebt or money for next xmas.
Sorry to say this but you are being your own worst enemy doing that

I agree with chev.
F will never learn.

hi guys,
Not been around for a while again. been ill and had a chest infectionslowly getting better.
Anyway, on the savings front things are not great down to £50 in my savings account now. Decided to get over it lol nothing I can do about it. Just gotta keep going.
However, I have today paid off one of my creditors in full!:j Next is now gone!:j:j and I am sooooo happy about that! It was only a small account (£155.19) but still, its an achievement I think!
Hoping to hear today or tommorow about a better job, so fingers crossed for that. Its about time my luck changed!!!
Hope you are all wellLBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
Well done onwards and upwards.

So glad your back!!:j
I did get my savings up to £1,000 2 weeks ago due to OH getting a bonus but unfortunately its all gone:( due to a number of incidents.
But at least no more on the credit cards, so thats something.
I have now got OH a cashplus mastercard to have. He moans and says I treat him like a baby, well if he didnt behave like one, I wouldnt have to do it!!!!
its good though because you get credit builder on it for free, so will help him build his credit rating back up:) see I still try huh!!
I have got 2 'build your credit' credit cards which I paid off in full in December, all maxed out again:eek::mad: my fault for giving in as per usual. oh well, not gonna worry about it anymore.
On the self managing dmp front, had a few issues with creditors especially metropolitan who act on behalf of HSBC. both me and OH have got accounts with them now. got the normal court letters threatening god knows what. but thanks to the CCCS and the knowledge they gave me, I have dealt with and will never again roll over and give them more than I can afford!!!!
glad to see you back, hope you are well.
beautiful day here, makes me feel good:cool:LBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
Well you seem to be making some good progress. Lets hope he self manages.
Im focussing on one thing at a time for now.
Amex
although it appears there isnt much focussing this sig was changed yesterday and Ive had no more money in since haha.
Its not my most expensive debt but its the one which causes me the most upset.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
good for you Skint! go for it! I know that you will kick Amex into touch in no time:)
Im soooo depressed:( and for once its not about the debt. cant clear it any quicker and dont really care anymore to be honest. sick to death of being stressed about it. no point. waste of my time worrying.
No, this is my life in general. its a mess! house is a constant mess, I dont bother with make up anymore, I tie my hair back all the time. And OH really slags me off and moans about that! but the more he verbally puts me down, the worse I get!!! I work from home (on and off) so got no one to look good for, its sad really.
I need to take control of my life, but I just dont know how!!!!
Its like tonight, I was walking with the dog and someone rang me. Nothing wrong with that. then when I got home OH says, oh for god sake, you were walking like an old granny you was only answering your bloody phone! now, you might think aww he was probably only kidding, but its the WAY he says things. like one big put down, nasty, you know??
Always putting me down, he says he doesnt mean it, but I dont believe it anymore. I hate him so much now!! what can I do to get out of this rut???? I need to be ME again, look pretty and feel good n pretty. Im only 40 for god sakes!!!!! feel like an old lady.
any tips anyone??? someone said declutter the house and the rest will come. lost all hope.:(

Ive been so down and I feel the same at times. Do something every day for yourself, your confidence is down and this is being underlined by those around you.
Just start small. Hard to be motivated I know.
As long as it something you want to do. xTrying to shift that debt!0 -
