    Hi JC

It's good that you are opening another bank account anywhere - but I would also open another one separate - even a basic savings account just for an escape route and to start building up some emergency funds if you need them.

I didnt think about the offset issue - it's a pity really as you are saying to everyone that you want the essentials paid so this is how you're going to do it - almost like separating debt from living expenses - but then the b*ggers may !!!! that up for you by clearing money - stupid!

A breakthrough with his bike - but how long would that last for? Didn't you mention that he had a bonus coming and that's what he should use for the bike - so has he said what that should go on?

Your DD will survive - and thrive when everything is sorted and she can see that life isn't a battle.

    (((HUGS)))

Good advice from everyone. Take it a step at a time JC. You are going to overcome this and it is good to plan it and be organised.

hiya woowoo, well he is at the moment! lol. I have now started the process to open my basic bank account with Natwest, I cannot wait for this to be completed and all the direct debits to be sorted out. OH is still getting money out and its blowing my budget completely. Once the basic bank account is sorted out, he will have our old joint account for his spending money account. I know that once its all done, I will feel like a great big weight has been lifted. I wont have to keep such a close eye on him then, its his money and once its gone, its gone! lol.

He needs to be taught how to budget!!!! As for everything else, he is still being ok, but I havent really thought much about it. to be honest, I have still being feeling rough this week. I cant seem to shift this cold, and its giving me terrible headaches. That plus the course im doing, I feel quite tired at the moment.

Once piece of good news I have had tho, OH is working all weekend:j yipee! :rotfl:

arnt I a meanie! lol. hope all is well with you woowoo xx

Well done. That's what it is about you will feel better when the account is set up. You are doing so much with work too. Remember you have been through a lot. Most people get stressed after financial problems, you have the added burden of a horrid, violent OH. Take some ME time. If you ever need a giggle do look at Mouseann's thread. We were hippies yesterday and reminiscing. Previously we have tried to sort out the UK Economy!!!! It's about having a laugh and chilling for a while to help get through the day. Do pop on!!!

hi everyone, im getting later and later at posting! lol.

Well, thank god its Friday! I am so tired today, glad the course is over for this week anyway! and I can relax at the weekend cos OH is working:j

Still dont feel 100%, which I think is adding to my tiredness. I am up early every morning now to walk the dog before I go out, been a bit of a shock to the ole system I think!:rotfl: Still waiting to hear back from Natwest, cant wait for that.

Not much else to report at the min, except to say OH is still being very nicey nicey when he comes in, hmmmmm, dunno if it will last tho. We shall see! anymore repeat performances of last weekend and he is outta here! no arguments, that will be it!

hope everyone is ok, speak soon xx

    morning all,

lovely bright sunny day here, lets hope it lasts! I am going back to the doctors this week, I cant seem to shift this cold no matter what I try. My sinuses are painful which is causing me to have bad headaches, and my throat wont clear, its making me feel so down:( back on my course tommorow, so not looking forward to that really.

On the home front, I knew that OH's nicey nicey ways wouldnt last. He came home from work yesterday, within 2 mins, he was moaning at me and shouting at DD for the silliest of things. And then this morning, he is all nicey nicey again, like nothing has happened:eek: He makes my head spin! I dont feel like I know where I am. All this playing along stuff is going to be really hard I think.

I THINK I can be strong enough to get thru it, I am just feeling so down at the min, cos of my symptons.

Oh well, enough of my moaning lol. hope you are all ok. have a great day everyone xx

Sweetie you are run down. OH is playing games. Nice person, horrible person, that's what bullies do to confuse you. Dont let him scare you or daughter. Make sure you tell your doctor everything.

Try to spend some happy time out of the house. Go for a walk. Do not cut youself of from your friends. They will get you through this. Things will get better. The tablets take a while to kick in.

    Hugs, SW
