Hi JC glad you got sorted at the doctors, sounds like your man and mine have something in common re money. Im trying to re educate mine and its a slow process but he is getting there. I think they tend to think they work hard so they deserve ***** whatever it is and they dont think about paying it back. Mine has even stopped drinking in the week and has a treat at weekend so there is always hope and if you can at least try to work together there is always a chance. Hugs

Marvellous, marvellous news. The tablets may take a while but last night shows that there is a positive side to the OH. He may have had his LBM and then it will be much better. Well done, my friend.

So pleased to see you in such good spirits lovely. Really hope OH can now get on board with you and perhaps a break away has made him realise a few things about his life - fingers crossed. It's great that you are starting payday with a bit extra in the bank with money OH brought back and the unexpected credit you had - fab! :-) xx
  • hi all, thanks for popping in this morning.

I cant believe how excited im getting! I have just had a sort thru of our ickle safe we've got cos I couldnt remember what paperwork was in there and I found some more currency to cash up! YAY:j

I found 63 dollars, didnt even know it was in there! I think that works out at about £43!! yipeee:rotfl: Im going to cash that in too, pay that into the bank and then use it to make an overpayment on OH's cc!!

I feel so much better today, I just hope and pray that it continues!!!! I really dont wanna come crashing back down to earth with a big bump. but I guess that the only way that will happen is if OH turns funny again, fingers crossed that he doesnt!!

have a great day everyone, hope you are all ok. enjoy the sunshine:cool:

  • i forgot to mention in my last post, when to Asda earlier, and I managed to get a whoopsied large chicken, was £6.70 reduced to £4.00:j

Will do us for quite a few meals so I am well pleased as there is only 3 of us. had some other stuff on offer but unfortunately I've really gotta wait until pay day tommorow.

Will go back later on in the week, and try and choose my timing carefully! lol. I want to try and get as much meat as I can on offers so I can fill up the freezer and stick to my budget/meal planning!!

  • morning all.

well payday today!:j This is the start now of a brand new budget, and I must stick it to.

Not much else going on at the min, OH is still being rather nice;) lets see how long it lasts!!! DD has got a party to go to on saturday, so I must sort a present out for that, lucky she reminded me!

Think I will post my budget on here shortly, so that I can actually see it written down. I think this will help me keep track alot better.

Have a great day everyone x
