  • morning everyone,

you guys crack me up!:D lol. BLT you are soooooo funny, savingwannabe is right, your posts are great!:rotfl:

Well, I decided to treat myself last night. I met up with a friend who I havent seen for a while and we went and had a nice meal in a pub. It felt good to have a treat, plus we managed to get a meal deal so it was 2 meals for £8!:j and we got some drinks thrown in to! I decided it wouldnt hurt for OH to fend for himself, he can cook.

Not much going on today, except for food shopping, god I hate that job! I must must must stick to my budget, especially knowing what OH can be like. I havent been to lidls for a while, so I might go and check that out today. We have got a supermarket round the corner to us, so its just pure laziness that I dont bother going anywhere else.

So will do that and update budget later. All is quiet here for me at the min, although OH seems to picking on DD now instead!:( He's leaving me alone and moaning at her! so I decided to put him straight last night and told him just to leave her the hell alone!! lets see if he takes any notice!

Well have a good day everyone, enjoy the sunshine if you get any, cos apparently the weekend weather is supposed to be flaming awful! typical bank holiday really!!:(

    speak soon xx

  • well just got back from shopping (hate it!) lol. so need to update budget

food shopping - budgeted £40 per week, but I decided to stock up and buy enough meat (on deals) to hopefully last us for at least May and June. Total spent: £75.05 that included absolutely everything. So ive got £84.95 left, this should be doable if I get my backside into gear and batch cook etc. I can be a lazy mare!:rotfl:

    petrol - budgeted £100 per month. £25 spent today - £75 left.

thats about it. Sun has now come thru :j so im off to have a nice cuppa, have lunch and then walk the doggie!

Oh and I have just had some great news, OH is working all weekend:j. Which is a good thing cos it means that a) peace and quiet for us and b) when he's working, he aint spending:rotfl: gotta be a bonus! lol

hope everyone is ok, take care xx

My weekly food bill is minimal, Basically I sit by the discount area all day, growl, bark and bare my teeth at anyone who comes close. If bareing my teeth doesn't work, I take them out and throw them at intruders.

This means that when all the sell by stock comes up I have first choice.:D

I'd love to actually do that but tbh would never have the nerve!! Not much in my reduced area today for bargains, I find Tues is a better shopping day for deals. Enjoy your peaceful weekend nice when theyre working and out your hair so to speak ;)

Have you tried the five finger discount method :D, its really cheap, the only downside is you don't get nectar points

Oh and you need to be reasonably fit to outrun the security guard when he spots you, try to take light things as they don't slow you down so much
