Flying put on hold. DS2 has just fell from the top bunk in his room. lovely cut and scrapes on the back of his neck and all up his legs. Poor thing crying his eyes out and just wanting cuddles from mammy. And i was starting to get somewhere with our room too. grrr
awh poor wee man - hope he is ok and not too sore - lots of gentle soothing hugs coming for him

Mumto5 thinking of you and sending strength and coping vibes ((((hugs)))
Kazwookie (((hugs))) I hope you put him straight - what a shame he is still dredging up things that are obviously painful for him - oh angel I have seen your next post - that is so hard to bear - I hope he relents when he has calmed down more (((hugs))) xx
pigpen take some time out and put the bulkiest stuff on ebay to make space - here's a challenge for you - you are not allowed to buy anything more for baby until you have sold enough stuff on ebay to pay for it!
LameWolf (((hugs))) for you and Dh - now stop right there and stop thinking it might be you next - although these people are your friends it just might have been brewing for a while and they didnt want to say - maybe they wanted to deal with it first before they told others? perhaps they were hoping to tell you in person rather than in an email or phone call. I have come across a few marriages that look rock solid and have fallen apart so they may have been putting on a show rather than upset you/admit whats happened. Its not contagious so I am sure you and Mr LW will be fine. I hope you can sort things out so that it doesnt cast a cloud on your party.

not too much flying done from the lists today, but loads of washing, ironing, hoovering (oooo that must be on the list for one of the days...must check :D)

    I also:
planted potatoes, & sowed radish & beetroot seeds
rang for new sash window quote :eek::eek:
went to GP for my skin cancer thingy check up (all OK go back in 6 months)
bought a new bikini for hols (again with the )
arranged for charity shop to come & pick up 3 boxes - it'll be next week, so I've time to accumulate more for them :D
    walked the dogs
    hugged my DD lots :D:D
    attended my PCC meeting tonight

think that's enough for today.. :o:p
I've given up trying to keep up with the thread too ;) so hugs to everyone - irrespective of whether you want one or not!

G&B hugs for your LO and I hope she gets used to her new brace soon.

Mumto5 I hope you get some more sleep tonight

Lamewolf I have found it is always the marriages which look the strongest are the ones that crumble. Over the years as friends have parted DH and I have discussed how sad it is for all concerned and how we don't want it to be us. Communication really is the key to most relationships (with a good dose of appreciation thrown in)

Just going to put the WM on and head off to bed.

    Sleep tight flyers.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

can someone give me some advice please?

dd2's prom dress has a zip that is sticking - is there anything (pref oldstyle but you know...) i can put on it to ease it a bit? it sticks at the point where the skirt meets the bodice iyswim!

went to see Nanny McPhee today - really enjoyed it!

Candle wax? I seem to remember my nan mentioning it. Maybe google it first to make sure it doesn't do more harm than good.

GnB - gentle hugs and 'no pain' vibes for your very brave LO
soappie - positive vibes for your application

General hugs all round for anyone else who needs one

Dusty - the 'techie' bods are being very helpful (and patient)
  • Revision exercises 2 and 3 done and its too late to start anything else now so I'm off to bed. Up for a 6.30am run tomorrow morning so better throw my stuff in the bathroom so I don't disturb DH or the girls at that time.

GnB....your poor LO. She really does go through it doesn't she. Hope it stops hurting soon.

Far too tired to do anything else so I'll see you all tomorrow. xx
