Helen jelly come carbooting on Sunday.

I have just been divorced from being godmother! (if that is possible) I am very sad by it all, I don't have kids, and only had one god child.

The choccie cake looks good, yum yum

I can't car boot as DH is on an early shift and then the kiddies would be home alone and they're not quite old enough for that yet although there have been times when............................................ Having said that I am considering it in the future - July/August time. Slabs are now sorted - thank you for looking.

Very sad for you about your God Child - the whole idea of being a God Parent is to be ther for the kiddies, how can you possibly do that if they are at war [the parents] and won't let you see the child - huge hugs for you.

Can those that are interested in a Milton Keynes meet PM me please so that I can start looking at the calendar, thought that the pub at Willen Lake would be good [idea supplied by KazW] as they are supposed to be good, cheap and there is a lovely lake to walk round, kiddies can feed the ducks - its lovely on a nice day - LW and DH - I'm expecting you both to say yes hehe. Looking at end of May or beggining of June - possibly on a Sunday

    Helen x

LOL @ 'higgledy-piggledy'.. That must be similar to mine having 'flippy-floppy' legs..

I have homes for some of the bits.. I have mountains listed for sale on various websites that I don' have to pay for.. I'm going to give some of it a run on ebay as it hasn't been on before.. loads of it is next stuff or brand new and I am loathe to send it to charity shop for them to sell it for next to nothing I would rather use my moments of incapacity to list it myself and have the 99p an item in my bank rather than the charity shops!..

I have located some 'interesting' Indian 'things'.. they are a bit odd but will most likely sell like hot cake on ebay given the weirdos on there.. (like Triker :p)

You never know what might happen in the future, he may turn up on your doorstep in 10 years time having had enough of his parents...

    (((Hugs))) for GnB's LO.

Piggers - where does all the stuff in your house come from? Do you have a portal to a parallel universe... or a branch of next :p:p

Food eaten and I'm now recovering from the run. We did just under 4 and a half miles interval training, and ran for about 50% of the time. So that's more running than normal, and it was outside and up and down and generally unpleasant. But now I've done it once it means I've got no excuses :o

Think I need to soak in the bath though to warm up and relax some muscles, then maybe work on the rather long list of work stuff currently sitting in front of me...

The brace is lined with a foamy type stuff, can't really put anything else as it is really tight. It is like this, but without the cutout sides and a higher front bit.

I have duly PM'd you. Suggested pub is also wheelchair-friendly, so Mr LW tells me.;)

Did someone mention Smokie? Only had chance to skim the thread so not sure who it was. We saw them in Spiretown last Friday. I got the tickets as part of DH's birthday pressie; thought they were good, but I'm afraid my tastes are a bit heavier really. :D

That was me. I realised on Saturday that I'd missed them. I like heavier stuff, too, as well as a lot of other types of music - this was just a case of remembering teenage years.

I get loads of energy for decluttering when I have planning to do...

There has to be a name for this, e.g. some kind of 'syndrome' - I suffer from it too, hence the attack on our bedroom, I think.

Decluttered more hassly stuff. Anyone want to know how much for a private Ed. Psych assessment? £325

I thought about re-training as an Ed Psych a few years back. Might look into this now...;). I really don't like where teaching is going.

I think you're referring to displacement activity :p:p:p

... at least you're doing something productive while ignoring work.

Now I really MUST get on...
