  • Slow selling and a refund.

  • FFM - you mentioned the other day you had some of your pensioner books on ebay as a job lot at the moment. Before I bid for some books I am interested in, just wondered if yours were still on there, and if so, which part of the country are you in?? (please!) ;)

    Thanks

I havent sold anything since last Saturday so boo hoo ! but only one WHINGE because I feel really sorry for those having to refund. I have had one item mising in the post from ebay, but it was jacket I sold for a friend- sometimes I hate selling things for others as usually there is a probelm.
I dont know wether to go to the auction market on monday and have a look at their books, as things seem quite at the moment and I am struggling for space.
I dont know how the big sellers have all the time to list and storage and really take my hat off to anyone who can put that much effort in to selling books. I dont think book selling is an easy option, probably one of the hardest but I like my bits and bobs as its fun (im a book junkie ) and when I sell it helps keep my head above water sometimes ( well more like bobbling in the water with my money problems ! ).
Hope we all get loads of sales soon !!!! :T

I refunded after a week having sent first class. The book turned up the following day. I told the buyer to keep it with my compliments, and she's left me a 4, saying that sale was a bit of a hassle.

I don't have any on there at the moment - you're safe ;)

Edited to add - although I don't have any listed it is common practice to off load old Amazon stock on Ebay as job lots. So, just be mindful - |'m sure there are good sources on there, it might be worth asking Ebay sellers a few questions about their stock.

Right, just been through the Royal Mail site with a finetooth comb and without an original certificate of posting they won't look at any claims.

I've just had another email from an irate buyer about another missing cd.
looks like everything I sent on the 14th, 15th and 16th has gone missing. Waiting for 3 more buyers to contact me.

Think I might have to forget selling my games and cds as I can't get to a post office during the day and can't afford to send them without a COP.

I'm feeling very depressed at the moment. Damn RM.
