I'v e been given a 'Palm Pilot' which isn't listed on amazon - I don't want it and haven't got time to set up e-bay shop yet and suggestions????

Not sure if this answers your question Annie but can you not just sell it as an individual on ebay rather than setting up a shop?

Yeah I could but am going away soon and want to stick with amazon at the mo - will probably wait till I get back then put it on -Thanks anyway
  • annie, I had an electrical item to sell, Amazon didn't have the exact version, mine was a previous specification (they were Hardman Soundsticks Speakers, a real cutting edge design, I don't know how they compared in sound quality to others but they looked great) so I ebayed them but used lots of info about the specifications from the company website because I really didn't have a clue about them, I had bought them from an auction, they were still factory sealed so I was having to describe something that I hadn't even seen properly. Got a good price for them.

Just got a 4 out of 5 on Amazon feedback with the wording "Highly satisfied"

What more could I have done to get the 5 out of 5?

Trying to list a new book, and it doesn't give me that option, the first dropdown box has Used - Like New. There are New copies of it listed, as well as Used copies. The price differential between the two is huge, so obviously I want to go down the New route!! Any help as to how to overcome the gremlin in the system would be appreciated. I think I remember seeing people have this problem before, but can't remember the solution!! (Unless it is to just email Amazon?!) Amazon aren't selling it new, but that hasn't been a problem for me before with other books I have that are new...

    Thanks in advance!!

  • bella, have you tried other book listings, are they all not showing 'new'? I wonder if it's just a glitch, maybe log out and in again?.

I am struggling with what number to put in from the back of CD's. Is it just the barcode or one of the other many letters/numbers on the back of the box?

DVS and video's again is it just the barcode?

Toys and games.I have 2 jigsaw puzzles, EAN not recognised and I can't find by searching key words. Does that mean I cannot list on Amazon? If not I'll save them for ebay nearer Christmas as they are new and unopend and would make great gifts.

    TIA

Thanks AT - I am sat here on the floor of my hall, (with cramp and pins and needles) listing a load of books. Have moved once in about 4 hours!!! (this includes listing for the very first time on ebay which took me about 45 minutes!!!) No, I haven't had a problem with other listings, although I did have this problem with another book recently - a James Patterson I think. Just left it as it was too late at night to even think about!!! I guess I had better email Amazon.
