I think that's a bit of an ignorant thing to say!! I can't afford to work as I would need to earn over 30k + to live, as would my OH. Tell me how I am going to get out there and get a job of that salary?! I have experience in many fields but have been very ill for about 4 years. My OH was in University and he had to drop out in his last year to help look after me and our children things got that bad. He has been my carer for 4 years and now I am finally getting better he can't afford to go to work, he has no experience!! It's a viscous cycle I'm afraid, there are various reasons why people can't afford to work, you have serious tunnel vision if you don't see anything else!

whos being the ignorant one here?
    no experience?
life is all about experience people must start somewhere
none of us had erxperience but we managed to find a job which we can learn from and improve ourselves
tescos pay £8+ to stack shelves
you dont need experience from that
they offer different shifts etc like at night

I think wishing 'jobless housewives' wouldn't enter SO many competitions DESERVES the feeling of not wanting them to win. Very unfair comment!

    on both sides

And how would him working £8 an hour feed himself, me and 4 children? I am still classed as disabled and can't work, and night shifts would be a bit of disaster with myself being ill and having 4 young children. It's not as easy as you think!!!!!

Unfortunately it is jobless housewives that spend all day entering comps that reduce the chances of people like me winning anything. I've probably entered thousands of comps over the last 2 years and won less than 10 times.

I need the prizes to sell for money due to high living costs (not outgoings). MSE housewives can clearly afford not to work hence their comp addiction which reduces chances for people like me.

well, i worked from when i was 15 right up to a few years ago when retired,
i'm now a 'stay at home houswife/grandma etc, who has worked to earn my pensions etc :D i still enter loads of comps on here, have won loads of comps from here & post lots of comps for the likes of you to enter, thus reducing my own chances of winning, but believe in comping karma, majority of the ops on here spend hours looking for new comps, finding answers, taking the time to post when they could just be entering from everyone else etc, so maybe a little more thanks for all those who do take the time to post comps or being happy for ops who do win might bring you some luck, hope so anyway :D
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

ginjim, with all the best will in the world, if it was that easy, do you not think that many people who are not currently working would go out and get a job? What motivation would they have NOT to? Obviously there are other circumstances that need to be taken into account such as childcare costs, illness, disability, tax credits etc etc.
We are not all in the same boat are we? :)
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

I think a lot of ignorance is being shown on this post.

Mind your own business comes to mind.

This is a comping site - lets get back to the business in hand.

Thanks to all posters without whom we would all spend a lot more valuable time searching for comps to enter. :A
