£1 designer Sale (help needed!!)

DHL attempted to deliver while I was out at work yesterday (though I had already changed the address details to my mum's address 2 mins after ordering on finding out delivery needed to be signed for.
The card they gave me to rearrange delivery didn't include my local 4 digit reference number for gatwick my nearest collection centre so I can't call to rearrange.
I reckon they will automatically try and redeliver today (again at work) so have left a signed note on the door to request they try neighbour or leave in safe place but I doubt they will do that.
Seems my only other option will be to drive 45 mins to Gatwick to collect which I really can't be bothered to do and not worth expense and time so whether I will actually get my 'bargain' remains to be seen!

You don't say! A sale? busy? wow thanks for pointing that out....What was the point of a 'RSVP' invite then? just so you can waste hours in the hope of actually getting onto their website? THEY made it sound so special and peoples hopes were built up with all this secrecy of sale opening times etc..so at the very least it would have been nice to have accessed the site. Shame they didn't do the bargain sale of the century in 'batches' so people might have stood more of a chance.

and if it was done in batches, you'd have a load more people complaining about what 'batch' they were in, there was nothing left etc etc etc.

Same as people complain about the Next Sale

Same as people complained about the website going down for the S&G Hatbox at Boots

Same as people complained at the M&S Christmas Eve/Day sale

Etc, etc, etc.

Theres no easy way to do something like this. People are always going to complain. At least a few hundred/thousand people got one hell of a bargain

I really can't see the problem.They sold all their bargains and people were happy to get them.
