Did you click through the invitation email?? If you did, you got straight through to the £1 items. If you didnt, it was an Invitation only event which is probs why you couldnt see the reduced items.
The site problems, yes it was hard work, but only the same as Boots on their Christmas deals, Marks & Spencers on their Sales launches, etc etc etc. Luck of the draw, definitely0 -
After reading this thread I am now glad I over slept, feel sorry for you guys who have spent your morning pressing refresh, hope someone managed to get something.0

I found today`s Outnet 1st birthday £1 sale a complete hyped up con. The site was unavailable from the start of sale at 7 24am until it closed about 2hrs later! I will not waste my time again!

I did manage to order a top having been trying from 7.30am so guess I was lucky but was in US sizes and ordered a 2 and probably should have gone for a 4 so who knows if it will fit after all that!
To be honest I've been signed up to the Outnet for a while now and this is my first actual purchase and I agree with the poster that's saying the stuff doesn't really look that nice.
Sorry to all those that didn't get anything - you'd think with all that advertising they could have staggered the sale or coped better with the traffic really ;(0 -

I clicked through the invite and was still charged full price! I am waiting for the sales team to call me back to sort this mess out! I hope you managed to bag a bargain!0 -
What a waste of time!
Was on the site for about an hour.
Then tried to checkout, but after about another half an hour of "refreshing the page" i just gave up. :mad:0 -

I logged in as soon as I got the email from the outnet at 7:24am this morning. 3 hours later, I have experienced countless error messages and the site has crashed more times than I could count. I've seen the screen saying "the outnet is popular today" (telling me to try again) and the times I have been able to view an item, it's shown as sold out.
It makes me wonder how many of the items were actually available? I understand there would be lots of people accessing the site but it's very disappointing that after advertising the sale, the site wasn't even set up to handle the web traffic.
Extremely disappointing (and a waste of time).0
