I was online at 7:24 this morning as the e-mail came in, I had JUST been to outnet and signed in and had it on my window incase the sale started early and the minute my e-mail came in I was on the website.

Went for 2 chole handbags but by the time I had got them into my basket they'd gone, but I have managed to get a Matthew Williamson top (rrp £800) which I am impressed with as it's going to make a great birthday present.

It was purely luck of the draw. Normally I have nothing but problems with things like this with my internet etc but I, like many others, managed to get something at least

outnet said that they'd upgraded servers etc so these problems didn't happen and I am appalled that people didn't even get a chance to get on the website to have a look :(

Yeah I can't believe Iam moaning about the fact I spent hours this mroning hoping to use my RSVP..Best sale ever if you were extremely lucky to enter the site and checkout..after all their hype about the 1st anniversary it turned out to be a joke.

    Really,what did you expect ?

Limited goods/lots of people trying to get a bargain.
it was a SALE:first come first served and when it's gone it's gone.

    hardly a joke at all

Agreed! I've let theoutnet know how disappointing it was that their site couldn't cope with the traffic. Maybe they'll think their next sale through a little more!

but the site DID cope hence the sold out signs.

i was one of the few who did not manage to get anything but did RSVP

trying to get on the website for ages (from 8.00am) to no avail. the website refuse to load, kept getting error , no server etc. Signs of the website not able to cope with the amount of users perhaps?

i am not moaning as like you say, first come first serve. but i do hope that next time they will really have this sale in a more organised way, such as limit the customers who had RSVP to different time slot, or like NEXT sale

Yes it worked for those who could see the sold out signs. Not so well for those of us who experienced the site constantly crashing, error pages and throwing you out of the site so you had to login again only for it to crash again....
