Morning
Circle is like Paypal. Go onto their website to sign up and enter your details. I use them to maximise my returns from Prolific (no charges for cash-outs over £20)
I've not used TCB... I don't do a lot of online shopping
E-bay, dinnae ken about selling on it, I buy a lot of things from there though
Keeping going when you hit a quiet spell... Well, I just keep raking over the figures, checking and checking to see if I have missed anything, anywhere that I can make a saving on.
It can be hard going at times when you hit that plateau. I try and remember the words of Bruce Lee;
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Brave you having the parents stay for 3 weeks. Your relationship with your mum sounds a bit like mine. I love her to pieces, she helps a great deal if i'm in a pickle and she is wonderful with Star Child but....it comes at a cost, I can't imagine ever feeling good enough for her expectations. The digs are easier to take some days compared to others though.
Chin up. You are doing so well.xdebt consolidated 16/8/18 £9,788.01/£12,618.12(Total debt at LBM 1st Jan '18 c..£19.5k)

The Good
- More surveys done.
- Signed up to swagbucks - a bit confusing as so much more than just surveys but I'll stick at it - any advice gratefully received...
- Signed up to Circle so I get ALL of my earnings (and benefitted a fellow DFW by using their referral code
).
- 4 more hours and my 4 day weekend starts .
- Head massage booked for tomorrow (gift voucher) .
- Mum & Dad are buying us a new shed/summerhouse - they had offered us their old ones but decided to keep them. They could have just said 'tough luck, sorry' but have offered to buy 1 new one in lieu of the 2 old ones. Just need to make a choice!
- Double colleague discount shopping tonight to get non-perishables and freezer stocks replenished - 20% off on top of any other discounts, plus £15 of T-vouchers and a £10 off £60 spent.
- I haven't made lunches this week which has cost me c£12 for 3 days.
- I forgot my purse AGAIN today so couldn't get my passport photos this morning.
- Mum set fire to something and has burnt the work surface. Fortunately nobody was hurt but I am (a) worried that my Mum made such a stupid mistake (she had put something too close to the gas hob then walked away - there is a family history of dementia) and (b) annoyed that my kitchen is damaged. Dad has said he will pay for it to be fixed so we will see what needs done. Could need a sizeable new piece of work surface - I think the damaged area might be too big to do anything else.
Happy hump day to those of you not lucky enough to have a 4-day weekend on the horizon

Just impressed myself by completing a prolific survey in German. £1.50 earned AND some brain exercises - Bargain!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Oooo German eh?
Only German I know is from Rammstein songs
Surveys have hit a slow-down for me. Panelbase in particular, screened out constantly... I only need 30p to cashout too... grrrrr
Prolific is still ok... so far anyway.
Sorry to hear about your mum's fire "mishap". Glad to know that no-one was injured.BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron

Sorry about all the stress, does not sound ideal. Lovely that your parents are there to help but I can imagine 3 weeks feels never- ending. I have an OK relationship with my Dad now but there was a serious rough patch. It's just me and him and he's a very intelligent man and unfortunately I don't think I've ever quite lived up to expectations.
Good news on all the surveys. I do think Circle is good for Prolific - it's motivation as well to get to the £20. I've had a bit of a bad spell with mine... Had one for over £7 sitting for a week  I just never got round to doing it and now I'm kicking myself!
How was the head massage? I want one... or any kind of massage really! I try and rope OH into giving me back rubs but am always met with a lot of grumbling.... :rotfl: Maybe I need to find a voucher.
Hope there's nothing to worry about with your Mum. It's quite a scary thing to think about but am sure it was just a moment of thoughtlessness. Lord knows I have about a hundred a day...Total Debt : ?? / ??0
