I write all kinds but mostly fantasy type stuff. I don't have anything I am ready to share yet but when I do I will keep you in mind - an independent opinion is always well appreciated!

Had a lovely relaxing evening yesterday. Picked the littles up from their child minder, let them have whatever they wanted for their tea (coco pops and jammy pieces ) while they watched TV and had them packed off to bed for 7.30. Christian is light out (or rather blind down at this time of year) at 8. NJ plays PS until 8 then gets 30mins non-screen time before lights out at 8.30.

So from 7.30 I had PEACE! (Hubbles is in London for a business jolly until late Friday so I had REAL peace.) Completed wk1 day3 of Evolution (deltoids & biceps - I have noodle arms today...) :A and then, instead of collapsing and playing dumb games on my iPad I got my pens out and had a play t doodling and drawing before setting up my new BuJo for July. It just felt so peaceful, for the first time in what feels like forever.

I had a bit of an epiphany last night too. One of the things I do in my BuJo is keep a mood tracker where I note the overall feeling for the day. Nothing too scientific - just based on my feeling when I close out my journal in the evening. There have been far too many 'Meh' days in the past few months and they are mostly work days. I need to give some serious thought to what I change and how because at the moment I am, on the whole, existing rather than living and I am sick of it.

Anyway, today is the last day in the office for the week and then I have 3 days before I need to think about it again. Tonight is day 4 of evolution (chest & back) and then, if I have time, I want to start emptying stuff out of the den so I can put the furniture in properly and have a space that is usable for hobbies and homework. At the moment it is the junk room and there is barely an inch of space that doesn't have stuff dumped on it. A lot of it is most likely junk.

OMG another lengthy post. I only came on to update on survey sites :p

Prolific £4.49 (still!) with 70p pending. This one has been slow the past few days
PanelBase £3.70 with £4.30 pending. I get screened out of a lot but this is a steady earner for now
OnePoll £6.75 probably me favourite - I never seem to get screened out of this one
YouGov 300 points. Not had much on here lately

Anyway, for anyone who has stuck it out this far, have a great day. In fact have a great weekend if I don't see you before Luc x :)

    Be warned - I read 9 books in 10 days - about 4,000 pages. Well - I wasn't sleeping anyway :p

That's a good sign of a good series of books ;)

I'm trying to get a hold of The Expanse series as I LOVE the tv show... and have been told the books are much better (natch!)

Hi Lucifa, just popped in to say I have subscribed.Gobsmacked and totally jealous of your reading speed. I remember the days when I normally read about 20-24 books a month, but even at my best I then only read about 40-50 pages an hour. Now I am down to around 25-30 pages an hour, and struggling to get even 10 books completed this month(30 pages left to finish book #6). Ever since I had a cataract removed my reading ability has plummeted!
I was very shortsighted, which was ideal for literally ''having my nose in a book'',now I tire rapidly and cant read well unless under a bright light. Getting old is no picnic!

Hi Dusty, it isn't often I get through that many but I'm not sleeping anyway and the series just had me totally hooked! I suspect some more important things like cleaning also got neglected... :p

Will post properly later but I wanted to ask - how long does it normally take for cash to show up in PayPal after a prolific cash out? Its the first time I've added cash to Paypal and I just want to know how long I need to wait before I start to flap...

As far as I can tell, Prolific have two days when they sort pay outs, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Usually doesn't take much more than five days in my experience.

I'm waiting for a few pennies to drop into my funds there before I can cash out...

Remember that with PA when the colleges and Universities are on holiday the amount of studies available drops dramatically.
