Evening everybody
Ok question.........s
I sent all my "i'm in a dmp" letters yesterday but without the token payment, they should go out this week.
I didn't use recorded post though, does that cause me problems? I will send the payments by recorded though.
One of my multiple debts has been passed to a DCA (inhouse I think) do i need to tell CCCS about this?
thank you for the welcome, feel better about this already!I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

eyeopener2
I have sent my token payments and I have not sent recorded delivery. For some I used the prepaid envelopes my creditors sent with the letter telling me my payment was later, the others I just sent to the address on the back of the statement as if you were paying by Direct Debit.
Eyeopener2 which creditor has passed debt to DCA?
Had an OK day myself but this DMP business is constantly on my mind I do not know if I will ever be able to concentrate on anything again, i hope it gets easier.
Final point from today changed my TV, Phone & Internet Package was paying £63 month moved everything to Virgin Media for £50 per month and that included V+HD so a saving of £13.00 per month.
No calls form creditors today although the phone did ring earlier and I nearly jumped out of my skin. My wife seems to be coping much better than me but I think the DMP is a better solution and she has been dealing with the finances so I have been unaware of the problem until now she has tried to deal with it her self and she tells me the DMP is better.
Must say the guys at CCCS have a very reassuring attitude and calming.
Starting to ramble now so I am signing off for now.Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j

You are definitely making a load of progress, you've got it!!! You're doing what we did 3 months ago, tightening everything up, getting rid of needless spending and addressing the debt. I feel much better now, my DH hardly ever thinks about it at all, we pay our payment and they've mostly stopped interest, end of.
It will get easier, really.........More than Two Years in

For what it's worth I never sent anything recorded and all mine got cashed fine, although I did send cheques for mine rather than postal orders, don'w know if there's a way to see if they've been cashed??
Love the soapbox rant about kids parties all so true!!!!0 -
And I think if the debt's still with an in-house company, then I think you don't need to tell CCCS, it's only if it's actually sold on.0

Pure Dead Dopey I hope so I seem to be a bit of a worrier, constant headaches and feeling sick.
I keep telling myself each day. The bottom line is that I am repaying my debts and I will clear them, but on my terms and not the banks. I have no more money to pay and we could not continue like this. So this is the best options, however it does not make me feel any better and then there is the DCA thats another worry. Where did life go so wrong.
Sorry everyone for being a bit of a doom and gloom but I need to talk about how I feel.Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j

One of my creditors is Northern Rock. Our children have 2 accounts with them where we are named trustees will NR take the money from the kids accounts to offset against our debts? Surely they cannot do this can they?Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j
