Hi everyone
Tedsd thanks for the mention.
Feeling happy about my victory over NEXT, however tonight I arrived home to find a letter from CCCS. They have wrote to me informing me that as a result of me reducing my budget and payment to CCCS one of my creditors HFC have refused to accept the revised offer. They will continue to make payment but are just flagging up that they may default me and sell the debt on. I knew things had been to good for to long. I have another debt with them so i can expect another letter.
On a good note I changed my mobile phone on Sunday went to Phones 4 U and I got a new phone no credit checks as it was an upgrade. I have to say though my stomach was in knots when they were drawing the contract up but got the phone I wanted and the deal I wanted so that cheered me up slightly.
Hope everyone is fine.

Following on from the post above. Does anyone think it is worthwhile writing to HFC explaining why the reduction was made and explaining my circumstances.

Mikon, a default and selling on sounds ok to me - better for F & Fs and your credit rating is trashed anyway ??
Good news re the mobile!
Creditors can expect a few more reduced DMP payments from people if gas/elec bills increase by 19%...

Good news Mikon, who cares about defaults, we've all got loads of them. Selling to DCA is what you want, no? PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.
Paddle No. 5.
Debt at DMP start (May 1st '10) £54.9k, as of 1st Oct '11 £33.2k. 40% cleared.
(3 F & Fs down, 5 to go!) :T0 -

Thanks PPP
Myb only worry is they start to apply interest again which will wipe out what I have paid over the year . If they do they sooner they sell it the better. I am going to write to them explain my personal circumstances.Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j

HFC are on very sticky ground with quite a lot of stuff, I think they will be behaving impeccably for the next few years see

As PPP says, defaults are good, the quicker you get them, they quicker they fall off your record, sure we've been over this before?More than Two Years in

Well done on the medal Dopey, am well impressed! Wonders what one has to do to get the third one?!!!
Ted well done on surviving the hols, you are a true inspiration. Just goes to show what you can achieve with planning and determination.
Mikon you've successfully negotiated on a number of occasion, as you know often doesn't pass the first fence but another run at it often sees us flying over it with room to spare!
I'm really struggling with work needed to my car (lots). I have a loan that finishes in 2 payments time. My plan is to reduce the DMP at that time. Although the overall DMP payment will go down the remaining preditors will see a bit of an increase in the amount paid into it. Well that's the plan anyway. Going to make sure I am exceedingly well prepared for the review!
Hope everyone is OK.
