So it seems that it is Barclaycard policy to reinstate interest after a period of nil. Thats three of us now, that I know of.

Evening all, just popping by, nothing to report at the mo. Welcome maxi million hi muppets,gibbs,E2, mikon, mephitsa and all.

I to am waiting for Barclaycard to get back to me, as they wacked on interest last month. Funny how the letter they sent calling to speak to them about the agreement ending turned up 7 weeks after sent:mad: We shall see eh!

Good to hear from you. Barclaycard have still not responded to my letter but continue to add the interest. Funny how they keep sending the statements. What I find interesting is that Barclaycard did not write to me they just applied the interest. I have asked CCCS to speak with Barclaycard and they said they would send a letter and a SOA but again I have heard nothing from CCCS they never get back to you to update you on things.

Had a major financial blip over the weekend when i was going through my paperwork i discovered that 50% of my mortgage is paid off in 2yrs and my endownment policy has a shortfall of £5K and I have not put anything aside for the deficit. My worry now is how do I meet the shortfall I cannot change products as I am with NRAM. I will not be able to get a loan as my credit score is shot. I am concerned at what happens in this case any help much appreciated.

    Hi everybody

Anything happening out in DMP land?

Not much from me but I did get a phone message asking me to ring MacKenzie Hall and quoting my debt ref. Odd, as it was paid off this month, they must be wishing me the best for my debt free future or something.

Belated birthday wish maybe? Refund of all monies paid cos i'm really quite a nice chap?

Not heard anything else from them since monday, I was expecting a RED letter saying PAY UP (even though I have) or you will be HUNG, DRAWN & QUARTERED.

    Nothing at all yet.

    Very curious happenings.

So Ted have you seen anything for York around July 11 for a week for two people? :)

Anyone know any tips for getting cheap US flights? Most of the so called search engines all have the same prices nowadays. So was wondering if there are really anyways of getting deals like in the past.

  • Hi all,

Regarding the nasty "Allied International Credit Uk Ltd" collecting for Mint Card I managed to speak to both of them to sort out who we should be paying. Mint said it was on file that CCCs were paying, Allied said that account reference number had been closed and passed back to RBS (Mint). So we've arranged for the payments to go back to Mint Card as before. Hopefully things will now settle again.....til next time.

As for fuel going up to £2 a litre I will have to start sleeping at work a few nights a week to make ends meet!! Already spent £150 this month on new brake pads and tyres!!!!! so much for the reduced mortgage payments ...feels like everytime we seem to get somewhere there's always something draining the funds down to bare bones again.

At least it's sunny this afternoon!!! Have a nice Sunday.

  • Hi guys, been a very boring few months DMP wise until now!
Have been fortunate this week to receive a £3k inheritance from an auntie, am of course going straight in with F and Fs at 20% to MBNA, Moorcroft (BoS) and Opus (was CITI), letters going off tomorrow.
Will let you know how I get on, Payplan haven't got a problem with it so should be an interesting time, have heard MBNA like to do a deal, the Opus card has been charged off and Moorcroft is a DCA so am hoping to get 30-40% out of them, hope all well with everyone. PP
